Pretty cool pen! I like that they did near color combos for pen body/section. Good idea to go with trifecta of collabs. My Quark from Gravitas came in recently and I’m floored by it. It is the complete opposite of this pen being sub compact in Ti yet it has a No 6 nib.

Nice pen. Have really got to like pocket pens particularly for EDC. Don’t like Kaweco Sport converters but a pocket pen with a full size converter. That has to be the real deal. Seems like a really good pen. Thank you DB

Howdy DB! What a super little pen! The color scheme is great! I have a Kaweco Al Sport and the ink capacity is a little limited on those, even though they are very nice pens! This one has more capacity and seems to be very well made. Thanks for sharing!

Glad to hear you like the Jinhao 82. If you like it, you will love the Jinhao 92 all metal pen. It is an "improved version" (my words) of the Graf von Faber-Castell Bentley for about one-onehundreth of the price of the Faber-Castell. I got the all black version and I love it.

Dang! I've just blown my pen budget on a Kaweco Sport Piston ( not that I regret that move). But #6 pocket pens are absolutely my thing. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, DB.

There's a us reseller now; look up pen venture Just beware, allegedly the manufacturing quality has tanked, and he's started using Indian nibs that just can't write.

I like it, DB Thank You for putting this out there. Comes with a converter, that is a win hands down. The Kaweco is just too short for me. This is on my radar.

Fullsize converter is a must. Should it not be possible to make a telescoping piston-converter? Also, I've never tried fountain pen in my pocket, by I know what happens if I run to a meeting with a Parker 51 in my hand, so not that keen on trying it out.

Telescoping converter would be a pump mechanism. Parker 51 is a great pen but not the best for kicking around in your pocket. Things like this pen, Kaweco sport, gravitas pocket, ensso pocket, etc have all been perfectly fine my pockets. I usually have one in a pocket all the time. The factor is having a very good sealing cap.

No clip doesn't bother me, and I normally don't post either, but I would on this one. So, question; does the cap in posting wear against the barrel. If one has to jam it on, then it would follow that added friction will quickly mar the pen finish.

It could happen over time I supposed. I haven't observed any markings as of yet. The coatings pretty strong. I haven't had any wear on my anodized Gravitas pens so this could be the same way

I am a huge eyedropper fan, only one of my current pens isn't an eyedropper. I run even my Preppy eyedropper. Would so eyedropper this pen.

I am thinking about purchasing it but I want to know if Ben Walsh is tuning the nibs on these like he does the pens that he sells on his site. That's a copy of Namisu Nova in a smaller size .... they could come up with something more original ...

Similar style but its not a copy. Many pens share design characteristics. These sections are completely different, threads, how it seals, and cap fitment are all different

@Doodlebud the conical ends are what made me think of Namisu Nove: it is a very strong design element. Yes, they changed the shape of the section, OK.
