@@FaramirsRangers Also, here's a trick I spotted recently as Spain (though it probably also works for G.B.). If you happen to meet the requirements to absorb New Spain while a wall is being built in Mexico City, Bogota, Caracas, Antigua, or Panama: You can immediately cancel the wall construction and collect the cash. For Improved City Fortifications that is 8000 a pop IIRC, gratis. I've managed a double with Mexico City and Bogota, so my next goal playing as Spain is to manage a triple.

@@FaramirsRangers One must play very aggressively as Spain in the New World. My play through last November I met the requirements in Winter 1713 and I only got a single collection in Bogota. Mexico City and Antigua had already just completed, Panama and Caracas not yet started, on Improved Settlement Fortifications. It was funny: Cherokee, in their desperation, sold Kaintuck Territory to New Spain instead of Pueblo that time as I closed in on Chicasa.
