I don't mean to de-rail what you're doing in Blender...but...you might want to have a look at Houdini, you can make 'tools' called Houdini Digital Assets for the shoebox, stage etc and then use them inside Unity, and if you make a character asset you'll be able to make 1000s of new ones just buy changing their texture. this page has some quick overviews of Houdini/Unity workflows and tools if you're interested www.sidefx.com/tutorials/unity-starter-kit/ looking forward to more!

I will check out this Houdini stuff anyway, so thanks. I’m trying to be open to ideas on this.
