Welcome to another tutorial. I'm working on an indie game and I wanted to share my progress and techniques with all of you. This time, I'm going to demonstrate different lighting techniques to help you get a high quality, AAA look for your unity games using lights, light baking, and post processing effects.

By any chance, do you know Sebastian Lague personally? You guys sound the same. Hehe. Anyhow, great tutorials man. Please keep them coming. I love how you explain each variables in the post processing effects and lighting and how they affect the scene. I am learning so much from this tutorial list that I subbed. Please keep them coming.

How can we support creation of that sort of videos?

The most I can ask for is to share these videos with others that might find them useful/interesting. Thank you for your support!

Am I only one who prefer more natural and photorealistic look than this? I don't get it why so many AAA games have this kind of over saturated, candy, toyish look. Not even film look. So little bit less saturated and more photrealism look would be better. Anyone else? Why this is a trend on game industry?

This is a trend because in games, the ability to quickly identify priority targets/objects/goals is vital. High contrast and over-saturation make it easier to differentiate between objects. In a film, you can art direct and compose the image to guide the viewer's eye towards the appropriate subject. You can do this because the camera angle is planned out far in advance. In a game, the player could be trying to find your subject from any number of angles, and players need a LOT of guidance to find where they are supposed to go. Putting unnaturally bright lights is an easily understood way to direct the player.
