It's crazy how many drivers don't have a license and drive. In America that's 60-180 days in jail and up to $2,500 fine. Usually a misdemeanor and or felony in some cases. It's crazy how lenient the laws are here but that's why the same problems keep happening. I love the work they are doing. Something is always better than nothing.
there ahould be jailtime for those driving without license..it would actually deter them from doing so..fines are just slap on the wrist in the Philippines

Maybe it's time for MMDA and LTO to invest in vehicle crushers at the impounding lot. If it's the 3rd violation, permanently confiscate the vehicles and have them crushed.
hindi ang batas ang mabait. ang mga nagiimplement at ang nageenforce ang mabait. gaya ng brgy, araw araw nila nakikita yan pinapabayaan lang, baka sila mismo illegal parking.
Its the fault of the national govt. 1. They allowed purchasing a car without proper parking space. 2. Public transpo problems 3. Imposing hefty fines amd impose strict rules in ncr and cities near metro manila.

Did the franchise office even check if the addresses declared in the applications of these PUJs are legit- that there really is adequate space to park them? If not, then they too are to blame when a pedestrian meets an accident for not being able to use the sidewalk.
That's the thing, sometimes they think the enforcers haven't heard the same thing 20 times that morning, let alone how many hundreds of times the day before.
Why are commercial vehicles released when they have no designated off road parking? It should be a requirement for commercial operators to make an appointment for an MMDA official to make a site visit of said parking and view parking contract before releasing, otherwise the vehicle will just go back to parking illegally. And of course it goes without saying that if the designated parking is a scam and fabricated the operator should have their operator franchise licence revoked.
The powers that be must say: the time your vehicle is towed away and the fine is ???? The second time the fine will be higher And third time the vehicle will be crust

When you see what he does with the second car, I guess he really just doesn't know how to drive. If there was anyone behind that car, he would have hit them too 🤦 That doesn't excuse what he did, but I just don't think he did it on purpose.

Hope they also sweep streets in Mandaluyong area esp Private Road, Brgy Hulo. Lots of illegally parked vehicles whose owners do not even live in the area.

That's the thing that a lot of people forget... aside from traffic and accidents, all of those things affect the response efforts of emergency responders. It can result in more property damage, injuries or even deaths - because of the delays and difficulties for emergency responders.
that fool asking the enforcer to talk to his friend or relative working at the government, really he wants to put his friend or relative's career in danger.
Unfortunately there's a lot of people in positions that will really try to use their power to prevent someone from being apprehended. Putting the enforcers job at risk, just to avoid a simple ticket. Or if not his job, at least his current position.

Please check E. Santos Ave in Barangay Sumilang in Pasig City. they made the main road into their own parking. also they put barricade upon entering, no one can enter unless you live their. ginawa nilang subdivision kahit na it is a public road of Pasig City.
He should have been arrested on the spot. The MMDA should have the PNP with them during these type of clearing operations. The fine is still much cheaper than building/renting parking spaces. If the person tries to escape and even causes slight damage to government vehicles then that should be sufficient grounds for arrest. It would be elsewhere in the world.
The thing is, I've never seen someone arrested for driving without a license, no matter who caught them. It has always simply been impounding of the vehicle 🤷

I'm from Barangay Tatalon there are so many drivers who are very too stubborn. Everywhere you go in Tatalon, you see a lot of tricycles, jeepneys and taxis are all parked in a One-side Parking even though it is for residents only and no garage for these PUV's

do impounded vehicles require tickets to be paid before release?i have a bad feeling most tickets arent paid thats why we see so many violations and repeat violations as if its no big deal.all ticketed vehicles should be impounded to ensure that tickets are paid and tickets should acrue interest longer tickets are left unpaid on time
