KICKER UnMASKED is showing off a legendary sub in a brand new way! How cool is it? Tune in right now and see for yourself! #KickerAudio #CarAudio #CarStereo Info: kicker.fun/com...
I installed mine. It can hit hard but then it over powers my stock audi B&O system. The gain match of the key 500.1 is actual pretty good but had to turn up the gain to get it right
@@KICKER-AUDIO I had to turn it down again, I think the bass restoration brought up the bass that I was trying to here. It's like a brand new car again and it's like hearing the songs for a first time again. Now I'm able to have all 18 speakers turned on while still maintaining bass
Do they still manufacture the CompVT series? Mine from 2008 is still working fine. If it ever blows, I don't know how I would replace it in the Kicker prefabricated box. I have it hooked up to a 400w rms Alpine, so it's matched well. Should last forever! Edit: I saw the comment below and went to the website and found it!
We generally recommend being within 20% of RMS, so look at the power of the sub channel and the power it delivers at the ohm load of the sub enclosure.
Getting down firing 8’s which amp should I get? Also getting 4 four inch kicker door speakers which should I use for them also? Or an I use just one 4 channel amp?
It depends on the brand, model, quantity and ohm load of the 8's. The CXA360.4 is good the for four 4" speakers. www.kicker.com/CXA3604-4x90-Watt-4-Channel-Full-Range-Amp
Do you guys sell just the enclosure for the 10" comp I just got the sub but didn't have enough for the boxed one so I gotta find a box that will work good for it.
Hey Zach. We dont sell raw enclosures, but there are three options you can consider: 1)Find a Kicker dealer and get their pricing on an enclosure (custom or pre--made). Here is a link for this: www.kicker.com/dealer-locator 2)Call our Tech Support department. We have a free service to help you design a custom enclosure. You can then take the design and have it made, or make it yourself. The number for Tech is 405-624-8510. They are open weekdays from 8-5 Central time. 3)Use our Kicker U app. There are free and paid versions. You can find a link here: www.kicker.com/kickeru Hope that helps!
i had one of the older own i think it had very little bass and used computer cont. not great wires walmart sale this for around 200 dollars and i go get wood and little sub and amp and make one that hits harder then this be better deal if was not so much money this just what i think
The main differences are power handling and frequency response. There are times when you simply can't fit a 12", or you may like a tighter bass response.
Depends on the sub. As a general rule, we recommend being within 20% of RMS. For the Comp 12" you have a 150-watt RMS at 4 ohms, so we want to get an amp that delivers from 120-180 watts at that ohm load. The KEY 500.1 is perfect: www.kicker.com/key-5001-1-channel-smart-amplifier
As a general rule we recommend being within 20% of RMS, so depending on the sub size & ohm load, the answer is probably yes. But you have to know one to determine the other.
