Unmolding- lace molds using DAP caulk

You are a wonderful Grandma! I love it! I have been doing the caulk with cake fondants for a couple of years and I notice I watched your video to help me get started. I've gotten a number of them online and bought a Christmas tree one and made a cobalt candle and wrapped it with the white "lace" trees. Talk about beautiful. Wow the caulking really turns out so well "Who knew" much cheaper than the modeling paste and the results are more verse tile since they are so flexible. TFS...Hugs....Mary

I live in Greece and cannot find Dap!! I tried a small tin of stucco but it dried hard and broke as soon as I took it out of the mould. Any idea what kind of caulking I should use? Other than Dap? These are so cool and I am dying to make some lace strips to add to a few planters this spring. Thank you for sharing and be well.

I heard you say you got the molds at Amazon, but what did you search for? "Silicone molds"? Also, how are you gluing these down with?

I'm still watching how will you glue the caulk...silicone is hard to glue!
