Snow and Curt are full time van life travelers. This van life couple has been traveling for five years in their tiny house on wheels... the last 2 /2 months has been in the Balkans Region of Europe! In this episode, a series of unplanned events forces them to cross the border from Montenegro into Bosnia ahead of schedule.

Hey! I did it! I've been binge watching you for two months and am finally caught up to your real time videos. So excited to keep following you. I toured Greece, Montenegro, Serbia and Croatia several years ago by public transport and stayed in hostels. Best trip I've ever had. I know you don't typically do tourist spots but I highly recommend Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. You won't be disappointed. You are bringing back such wonderful memories - the water is such a beautiful color and the people and their history are fascinating. Can't wait to see you walk the walls in Dubrovnik! Your trip through the America's was a dream that got dashed when my husband passed from cancer so thank you so much for sharing. Happy Trails!

I like Bosnia landscape so much better than the drab, rocky and brown, treeless landscape of the countries you were recently in. The green landscape majestic mountains, and the canyon with lake beauty road is truly a breath of fresh air! What a wonderful “weather-change” tunnel you experienced. That was wild!!!

Bosnia will not disappoint! In my opinion Bosnia is as beautiful and wonderful, or even more so, as Croatia and Montenegro! I really loved visiting it. It’s also a lot cheaper. I would love to return one day!

Oh my gosh, another drive I am happy to have you make while I watch from here on my sofa. Stunning views, but way too high and steep! And, what luck - you got to cross that bridge 3x! I noticed that there was a cat or small dog with the guard when Curt was talking to them about where to go for the insurance.

I am claustrophobic and I'm afraid of heights and watching this I felt like I was losing my breath, that long cave tunnel made me phobic, but knowing I was safe at home made this trip scary but very enjoyable, your videos made me feel like I was riding with you both, Mahalo for taking me places I know I will never go on my own, getting to see it up close made it special just like all the other videos you both put out, safe travels to both of you and your fur babies they are adorable, aloha from Hawaiʻi 🌺

Don't even stress on not having a drone! That was insane!!! All those tunnels and the views was a wild ride!!! And then once you crossed the border the road was terrible but the view of the trees and countryside was lovely. Glad you made it!!!❤

As you enter Bosnia you’ll see less of the fir and spruce trees and more of European beech, Bosnian pine, oak, fruit trees and other deciduous broad leaf trees.

That’s interesting that US insurance will issue a green card for some of Europe. Going the others way, UK van to USA no insurance or green card is available from any U.K. insurer, we used Progressive in the US which is difficult to organise without a residential address.

When you go into a slide while driving in the snow, go with the slide, not against. Also, never slam on your brakes during a slide. Just gently tap your brakes. If you slam on your brakes, the slide will worsen. Experience from the state of NV, near Tahoe at the valley floor. 4800 feet.

I’m from the part of the snowiest part of the US it looks to be a very wet snow-once it gets warm it will melt but if it gets much colder you will get ice. Be careful😮

Another great tour could not get over the number of tunnels you had to pass thru to get to your destination. I liked the bridge crossing over the dam what a view. Thanks again for a great video and the added bonus of lambs at the end. PS like Miss Vanna on the dash checking out the fuzzy mike. She is a star in my book.

Those tunnels were scarey. It reminded me of a road trip that my son and I took in Tromsø last year. Norway. We took a wrong turn and got jammed into the roof and side wall. Tunnels now give me the heebie jeebies. 😅

Bosnia is called the Jerusalem of Europe. there was no hate before the war. we are slowly trying to get back to what we had. next time you come it will be much better

Especially in the south eastern part of the northern hemisphere 😂 it's always warmer there! The weather in Europe is very confused since a few weeks. I live in Germany and we are so rained in that we're fighting floods again, but it's humid, not cold 🙈

As for the insurance in non-Schengen countries, even we UK/Euro travellers have to get independent insurance - or pay VERY big premiums to our resident insurers. It is to do with perceived road conditions and socio-political safety. YAM xx

Friendly advice... If you dont know.. Cats and dogs have to be in a carry or seatbelt in cars and motorhomes while driving in Spain and Sweden ...dont know for the rest of EU. Look it up so you dont end up in trouble 🤔🙂
