Testing the code base for my Retro FPS game in Unreal 5.2. This update has a lot going on including:
1) Light manager to dynamically enable/disable moveable lights by Zone
2) Blueprint-based AI (Unreal behavior trees are very difficult to work with)
3) Bi-directional doors that detect which side you're on with 1 trigger. These doors can be locked/unlocked and can be activated by overlap or BPI call
4) Lift doors that can be locked/unlocked and can be activated by overlap or BPI calls
5) Global sound manager
6) AI/Player sound manager for voice and "HEV" alerts
7) Actor and Character spawn system
Note: The art assets are from the Unreal marketplace and they'll be updated once I get a level designer. I'm using the FPS Animation Blueprint (v2) for the weapon system. The rest of the code (AI, Music manager, level manager, land mine/remote mine system, health/stats, etc) is all blueprinted from scratch over the last couple of weeks.
