In this video I'm going to show you how to identify what the Texture Streaming Budget is, how much is should be, and two different ways to set it.
2 --------------------- EDIT POOL BUDGET
To see the pool budget, type the following in to the console Command:
stat streaming
To change the pool size, enter:
r.Streaming.PoolSize ####
(substitute #### for the size you want the pool to be, e.g r.Streaming.PoolSize 1000)
3 --------------------- EDIT THE DEFAULTS
The file to paste the configs in to is:
../../[YourUnrealProjects]/[Project]/Config/DefaultEngine.ini
Look for:
[/Script/Engine.RendererSettings]
Copy the following two lines under that:
r.TextureStreaming=True
r.Streaming.PoolSize=####
(substitute #### for the size you want the pool to be, e.g r.Streaming.PoolSize=1000)
