Nothing wrong with hopeful speculation.) - The same people who think it's really, really important to the nation and the future of the world that you vote correctly, giving you something like a .0000001% chance of affecting which of two pre-selected people with slightly differing world-views will "be in charge", if you can call it "being in charge" when you don't even have the power to hire/fire the vast majority of people working under you...

@jeremy Lyons Correct. One serious flaw with liberal thought is myth that everyone is a potential intellectual. Now I'm no elitist, I certainly don't think intellectuals should be seen as a unique class, but it takes effort AND natural ability. And not everyone can do that. I certainly can't. And while communication is an important skill for any academic or philosopher, being able to succinctly explain an idea is hardly requirement for a good idea.

As a religious Jew of Eastern European descent, and a student of history, I can only agree wholely with Yarvins depiction of the Holocaust, both from the German, and American assimilated jews perspective. I was gratified to hear someone put it so succinctly and accurately. I find it revolting how these same people ant their successors then used that horrible crime against our people to gain leverage for their own ideological gains, In America and Israel. This is not to say that the Jewish claim to Israel is not legitimate; it most certainly is, rather to point out the hypocrisy of the secularists that founded and still own this country.

Interesting how Yarvin is sort of Derrida, post structuralist-like in his analysis, which you don’t often see from Right wingers. Often he focuses on language and semiotics. MM who is correct about O's intermediate mentor forgot to mention someone he (MM) brought up when he endorsed Obama: Obama credits "Frank" in his first, ghostwritten book ("As Told To" - uncredited), "Dreams from my Father." Who is the "Frank" that Obama describes in glowing terms as a father-figure to him (after the one who inspired Obama's dreams, Barack sr, leaves the picture). Well, Frank is Frank Marshal Davis (this isn't disputed. Even if it was harped on by WND and Glenn Beck, and the response was scoffing. But that scoffing did not come in the form of disputing it. It's an established fact. You're just only supposed to notice it if you're positive about it. That is: if you're down with the movement. If you're not, then the response is scoffing...krokodil humor). Krokodil Humor is another unique MM coinage that unfortunately did not catch on. Like "The Modern Structure" (which Foseti correctly distinguishes from "The Cathedral," in the introductory of a commentary series on MM that unfortunately never got completed. Or at least not posted on Foseti's fine blog).

btw one of my professors back-in-the-day, when The New Party was a thing, was one of the founders of the New Party, Joel Rogers (a professor at the UW-Madison). Informative guy. Very sharp. *Very* left-wing high-progressive. Obama certainly did run on that ticket in his early political career (the one that started after foundation money sent him to Chicago to organize the natives - colonialist regime cadres are typically High Progressives of that sort. Recruited out of colleges by the wealthy and sent forth. See also Bill Clinton. Not nearly all of these promising aspirants reach the Oval Office, but it's like any form of venture capital. And most of them have some sort of impact. Progressives have deep, deep pockets and can fund throngs of such cadre-types as future zampolits).

From what little I know Yarvin, he’s like Michael Malice in the way that you don’t have to agree with his conclusions about government in order to realize they’re brilliant thinkers. In a way, if all of us liberals, conservatives and libertarians listened to people like him more, the current systems would be fixed to resemble what we thought they actually should be.

So Hitler held Jews in camps as hostages while keeping it as secret as possible to the point there is basically 0 explicit documentation or communications regarding the camps, and the only official communications or documentation suggests that he was trying to push them out of the country and ship them to Palestine or even Madagascar, and that Hitler tried making deals with Jewish representatives but was ultimately rejected. And from what I read the German's bombed London by accident, as they intended to target factories and infrastructure, but got off-course without realizing and dropped it on London instead? I mean, Germans accidentally found themselves over Ireland a few times to the point that the Irish put markers along the coast to let the Germany pilots know that it was Ireland and not England.

Take the case of the 75000 jews of Slovakia. When the Germans were welcomed in, i think in 1941, there was a deal made between them where the Slovak gvt, lead by the king and the bishop, would pay the Germans 5 kronem per head to rid them of their jews. They were All moved to a few ghettos while the Germans considered their options. The rabbi of Nietra started single handedly treating with the German commissioner to save them. I don't recall the details of the demands except they wanted proof that any moneys came from "world jewry". These orders came from Berlin. He sent letters to NY and Switzerland to the Jewish leaders there to arrange the ransom and was completely rebuffed by the Reform and Zionist leaders respectively. He strung the commissioner along until the summer of 1944, while desperately seeking help from the aforementioned until the Germans finally were exasperated and deported them all to extermination.

Regarding the Apollo project, I recall Molyneux mentioning the reason we were able to make it to the moon was because NASA was new and there was no existing space program. Many minds came from the private sector in order to populate NASA to complete the Apollo project. The Manhattan project may have been similar in that these weren't traditionally government workers--they weren't born and raised in bureaucracy, but they were recruited scientists. Just a small point for libertarianism.

I don't think Mencius deserves to be as confident as he is, and a lot of people who used to read his stuff have moved on the greener pastures and more compelling narratives. @@Confucius_76 the Zionists stabbed Germany in the back in WW1. They brought America into the war (using lies and propaganda) on the side of the British, in order to defeat Germany with the deal being Palestine (then under British control) would be given to The Jews in exchange. The Balfour Declaration is the receipt for this treachery. Germans realized this after the war, and (correctly) resented the Jews for doing this to them. Especially after Germany being so kind to them. Most Jews to this day have German surnames; Steinfeld, Goldstein, Applebaum, etc.
