Lmao . He actually stared at him then took a long pause and said “can you repeat that” while he thought about an answer . U can’t make this type shit up 🙄
When you're playing, the Coach's Instruction are just Guidelines. You can follow them at times but most of the Time, you should know how to read situations and adapt. Not all the times that the drawn play came to fruition. A player with a High IQ should know. He wanted to know if he should curl or not, he should have read the situation if he should have curled or not, that what High IQ Players do. 😊
@gilbertestoesta8722 You're missing the point. He IS a high IQ player who is coming to his coach for guidance on a situation. Your can always read the games (as regards Xs and Os) better from the bench cause your not focused purely on your assignment. He was expecting a high IQ discussion with the man PAID to do just that and instead he got a blank stare plus "Curl it"... This was while they were fighting for their lives against the defending Champs who had a savant on THEIR bench. It must have been VERY demoralising
I think this videos proves the opposite actually it proves that Lebron empowered everybody to do whatever tf they wanted lol he shows Ham no respect so it trickles down to everybody else. Ham can’t even tell LeBron to take the ball out of bounds without him being dismissive
Murray never showing up in the first half is wilder😂😂, Murray getting injured more than an old man is wilder, Murray getting blocked like 5 times by a 39 year old man is wilder, Murray getting carried by his team.is wilder, Murray missing so many wide open 3s is wilder, Murray will never be a legend like LeBron, fck outta here bum@@firstnamelastname1566
Putting in his homeboy players that scared of the ball. Theses players always waste 10min of our time while they're on the floor blowing our 10-15 lead. EVERYTIME! He played these 2 players over the ones who could of got us 3's, rebound and gave us 2nd and 3rd chances!
Man. I can’t stand how coaches dress now, looking like bummy gym teachers. It should go back to pre covid standards, put on a suit, have an iota of a dress code, have something resembling standards and decorum in this league. Look at pics of Derek Fischer or Pat Riley when they coached….FLY.
@@maloochNot everyone is comfortable in that especially when you have to get up and down and walk the sideline. It’s not much but I promise you it’s not comfortable wearing a suit for hours. No one cares what they wear it’s a damn basketball game not a modeling show.
Because he needs people to blame. Imagine missing a wide open three, making all-time CHOKE plays every game, getting son'd by Murray, then blaming anyone but yourself lmao. Classic LeBlame, the greatest CHOKE artist the game has ever seen.😂😂😂
@@mikejones2405get that laker 🍆 out yo mouf. Lakers were awarded 700 extra free throws and shoot at 78% from free throw as a team. So they got roughly an extra 546 ( 78% cuz bron fans are 🐌) pts to keep them in the 8-10 spot. Great in season tourney tho😂
It's contagious. Look at Reeves. He's slowly begun flopping and complaining. When the supposed "goat" sets an example, the young follow. Coaching is only part of it. But there were clearly two people trying to lead the team and one of them had no business in doing so at the end of the day.
Facts 💯 LeBum the coach-killer showing his team how to do it too. Lakers should blow this whole team up , no one excluded from the rebuilding process ..
As they should LeBron wanted Ham as the coach IDC what the situation is you respect your coach as a professional. . . Than they wonder why he won't challenge a call or something the players don't respect him why th
@@andrewgiegerich8211L46ron is clearly the person to be buddy buddy with you until things go south.. then he’ll turn the locker room against you. Even if Lakers land Reddick or Lue, the culture of the Fakers is too toxic for any coach to have any success. Trade L46ron out of LA, YESTERDAY!!!
@@andrewgiegerich8211 bron wanted lue and monty first.. jeanie and company wanted vogel.. ham was the only option at the time that was from a bucks championship team.. he was supposed to be good.. it was jut too much
Anyone defending Ham has never watched him coach a game from beginning to end. One game is all it takes to see he's out of his depth out there. It's an attack on Lebron's character that's being disguised as a defense of Ham.
They didn't start ignoring him until well into the season, after it became apparent he was clueless out there, especially in crucial 4th quarter moments. When the players start sensing that they might know more than the coach, this tends to happen.
@@chrisl3193 didn’t even have to squint. When AD asked him if he needs to curl around and he was staring at the pigs flying around his head in confusion.
Dude did you watch the video, Darvin Ham was clueless, he couldn't even draw up a play after a timeout. He erased his board like 4 times. What is your brain doing when you watch this?
They are gonna have to pay somebody big F-CKING money to try and coach these F-CKING DIVA'S or get a beginner coach like JJ RedDick LeRoid James's buddy LeRoid can control him and make him do what he wants!!!
Not saying Ham is a good coach, but, I'd be lost too if I had Lebron on my roster. Lebron's attitude is contagious, all the other players are starting to behave like him. No professionalism whatsoever.
I dont give a damn who the coach is, this is the most disrespectful thing I've seen in a while. You don't treat your coach like that and expect to win. The leaders set the tone and Bron and AD look super unprofessional in this video. What coach in their right mind takes this job? Darvin Ham barely got the job and now they will have to find another 1st time head coach as no respectable coach will want this job with these dudes acting like this.
Valid feelings from the stars or not, if you can’t earn your players respect you suck as a coach. What an idiotic take from you lol blaming the players for not respecting him? Lebron and AD are veterans who know how to win and do their job. If the coach can’t lead them, they need a different coach. You’re a moron.
Lol that was them sending a message to the GM office that they want ham outta there and it worked. The whole LA city should be grateful AD and Lebron did that cuz ham is a b u m
As long as Lebron is there they'll have a hard time with coaches, Lebron has more Finals losses than any player in history over numerous coaches he had problems with. Ham is not the problem, those players were looking for a scapegoat since the trade deadline.
Last time I checked, LBJ got Spoelstra, Lue, & Vogel their first rings as head coaches in the NBA. Also, if more rings mattered, Russell would be the GOAT
F*ck that! This makes me question WTF were Lebron and AD in the off season? Why didn’t they take care of this in the off season, they new Hamm was a new Coach with no experience. So they should’ve took the time to bring him into the mix of how they wanted to run the team… they wanted to party instead of working on all their flaws and tightening all the screws! They def aren’t Championship material and WTF is Russell talking about being a “Big Dog”? Go sit ur azz on the bench, ur not a big dog ur a bench dog! Matter fact he can’t even have that title, he’s a ghost dog. (Cuz every team he goes to he disappears)
WTF are you even talking about “they should have addressed in off season”. How would they know he knew shit about coaching? You must have sat next to Ham in coaches college.
Looks like a bunch of players who all of a sudden doesn't buy in to what Darvin is saying because their "leader" (Lebron) isn't buying in. Lakers were up 20 points, lost the game, then Lebron decides to talk to reporters and blames the refs for two missed calls. That told me all I needed to know. None of the players were going to take accountability if they lost the series against Denver. Now Darvin is gone, no surprise, and this video clearly shows why. It's the Lebron Angeles Lakers.
@@Ballinbmacexactly. The fact AD asked ham what he should do and ham just looked at him paused and then asked him to repeat it and he blames lebron lol
What about the part where he had names on the board and couldn't figure out a play until he ran out of time. Playerd miss shots but I've never seen a coach do that
Back in the 90s, we thought Del Harris was the worst Laker coach. It got really worse over the years save for Phil Jackson. Pelinka should go as well...
Where was all of this ENERGY when they won the Mid-season Tournament 😂 Lakers just meet a better Team. Ham didn't miss all those free-throws, make all those turnovers and gave up 20 points.
@@jerryren4076 so you talking about time management? What about those free-throws that cost the Lakers Game 5? What about the Turnovers in Game 2? The problem is Lebron is not a true point guard and his defense is inconsistent! Gordon killed Lebron in Game 3 (Timeout)!
@@rawbellco49 Lebron was playing a lot of off balls anyways this season. The missed challenge at the end of game 5 literally costed them the game every sane person knows it, same with game 2, the rotations were horrendous
These dudes are weird! No respect for Coach starts with Leader! Lbj is a terrible teammate it rubs off on the sorry ass teammates/others or minimal guys lol!
I wouldn't respect a coach who took half a time out to try to come up with a play. And that's if he was a VOLUNTEER coach like in a kid's league. Now imagine one getting paid the NBA-bucks... 🙄
How are people still blaming a 40 year old lebron when the coach has no idea how to draw up a play or make line up adjustments when a team is torching them going on a run. It's the coaches job to recognize the opposing teams schemes and how to counter forcing the other coach to make a different play or lineup. Ham out there is just winging it, no direction, no leadership, no discipline. They traded for size in Vando, Hayes, and Wood but would not utilize them to their full extent.
Here's the problem: LeBum Choked hard in game 1, choked harder in game 2, a CHOKE of a lifetime in game 3 and the greatest CHOKE the game has ever seen in game 5. With all the help from refs and getting son'd by Murray he then blames the coach, classic LeBlame lmao.
Ive been saying that from jump , LBJ needs a good coach . His whole career he’s been carting coaches to the finals . When a coach looses respect from the locker room it’s over for the team .
Watching every lakers game this season, was surprised they didn’t fire ham sooner! Pockets ham a garbage ass coach! Never had his players back and can’t remember if he even got a tech this year lol just stand there looking lost on the sidelines…
It’s crazy that this type of behavior has been shown by players with multiple teams that Lebron has been on… it was an unwritten to not disrespect ur Coach during a game or in front of the media? But this is Lebrons leadership and toxic environments he creates… u can fire him if u want and blame him for every problem they have? But we all know it’s not going to fix anything…
Every single coach, save 1, lost the locker room when Lebron is on the squad. That one? Spoelstra. And that one ONLY because Riley REFUSED to let LeBron railroad the coach.
Look, as a die hard lakers fan I’m glad Ham is gone. I do feel bad for him tho cuz we just threw him (Jeanie didn’t want to pay for a coach) in there when he wasn’t rdy to be a coach. We could have signed T Lue instead 😢
Lebron should just be a player coach like Jaworski on team Barangay Ginebra in the 90s. Jaworski even made his son play on his team-- hence, Lebron can do the same thing with Bronny.
The King made no effort to guard Murray when he hit those game winners. Last time I checked the best player in the league demands the last shot and covers the player with ball whether they shoot or not. Now AD will be the weakest link in the greatest shots in playoff history.
There is only one person on the planet who can adequately coach LeBron according to his standards, and that man is LeBron James. Make him a player/coach. Bill Russell did it, and won a championship. Let's see how good LeBron really is.
2:43 bro what the hell is this game plan! I'm done lmao. Bro wanted his team to stand right side of the court and play a straight-line defense, leaving the entire left side open for the other team.
That’s like that for every team the coach is always the first to get fired because you can’t fire players. Ham clearly doesn’t know what he’s doing it takes too long to come up with a play. When he does it’s hot ass to the point where the players get frustrated and lebron said gimme the board lol, I thought Vogel had bad rotations until I seen ham. Lebron definitely sold a bit at end of couple of those games but it wasn’t entirely brons fault he played good in all the games so did Davis. The nuggets are just better than them. We have a dude in dlo who has 20+ one game zero the next and he’s supposed to be our third leading scorer the bench didn’t show up for shit. Basketball is a team game unfortunately one player by himself won’t win you a game the whole team has to contribute and for the most part it was only Davis and bron. Ham was for sure part of the problem he isn’t the only problem, dlo is too inconsistent, they have no big to run either Davis and ham didn’t utilize wood well, they aren’t a good shooting team from three. There defense is ass for the most part aside from Davis, before you try to say lebron the numbers check out for lebron as a above average defender, he isn’t great but he’s no bad either. Lebrons getting older that’s to be expected. Also the nuggets play better when facing the lakers for whatever reason. Lebron takes some blame as well as Davis for publicly outing his coach. Even if the coach is shit don’t do it publicly as he’s going to be under more pressure and do worse. Lebrons issue is he doesn’t play in the post enough and take advantage of his size more often. All the players in league bitch so it’s not a lebron thing only the refs this season have been absolutely dogwater tbh. The lakers outside of lebron and Davis are not consistent in the postseason and dlo disappears way too much if they are going to rely on him to be their third option they are never going to win.
What respect gotta do with drawing up plays? Or remembering what you have certain players doing on the play when you do draw one up? I’m not saying players shouldn’t respect coaches, but a player can have all the respect in the world, but if a coach can’t coach, then it doesn’t matter. If Darvin was a good X’s and O’s coach no one would have any issue. But you got six minutes of the man not coaching and still it’s the players fault ?
@@sjaykay9884 The first thing you're going to do is respect me as a man and your coach. The LeBron media are showing them clips to make him look bad. No one every talk about when AD and LeBron tried to make him look bad when they didn't play against the Celtics and the Lakers won that game. They didn't say nothing about his coaching at that moment. The Lakers had the ups on Denver but your main players didn't close it. LeBron missed an open shot. That wasn't ham. LeBron letting Aaron Gordon get easy layups and not boxing out when he needed to. AD not asking for the ball when he should. I'm not blaming darvin for that. Especially when this all looks like a LeBron system that been going on for years 🤦🏾♂️🤣
@@budgang3 ok, the team doesn’t respect you. So then that makes you lack the ability to draw up good plays? No one blaming the players can never point to something good that Ham did in terms of his coaching. You saw in the clip when the lakers won that Celtics game without Lebron and AD that Dlo was yelling “I’m the big dog…” towards Ham so there was a problem with his coaching even in that game. I don’t disagree that respect is important. But if you’re the coach and you’re over there coaching your ass off and not your hands in your pockets looking lost, then the players will come to respect you. The respect is lost because the man can’t coach.
@@budgang3 and also two things can be true. The players didn’t get it done against Denver AND Darvin Ham is a bad coach. I feel bad for Ham because I think he was over his head to start with. Shouldn’t have been hired to this job for his first job. But the lakers don’t wanna pay a coach more than 5 million a year unless you’re certified like Phil Jackson was. You can go all the way back to before hiring Vogel. They didn’t wanna pay Lue and didn’t wanna let him have the staff of his choosing. Then they hired Vogel as a consolation. Then Rob blew up the championship team that was built around Vogel’s strengths. They traded about that team to get Westbrook, which was a failure, and then Vogel got scapegoated because he couldn’t manage the Westbrook situation. So everyone involved from Jeannie Buss to Rob to the players deserve to have a share of the blame.
- lebron who doesn't boxout and sometimes play defense - the big dog Dlo who scored 0 pt in a game, sometimes play defense too - your best wing/perimeter defender who sometimes play and yet this was all darvin's fault. lol! he isn't blameless but common meat riders! if you want to take all the credit if you win then take all the blame too if you lose. add that to your legacy. 🤣
WEAK BENCH????!!? im a laker fan our bench was great on paper but injuries and dinwidie didnt show up he was supposed to be our go to scorer off the bench
He looks like a parent, who didn’t want to coach, coaching in a rec league. No adjustments, no leadership, no respect. And grown baby stars kicking and screaming.
When you're a pro at some point you gotta coach yourself and just play. A coach just guides you. And if you're the supposed goat well damn what can I tell you. They don't want to accept the nuggets owned them. Blaming the coach is weak.
Lebron has had 9 coaches so far and you can show these exact same clips for all of them. Y'all can try and make Darvin Ham the villain in this piece if you want to but anyone who is brave enough to take the head coaching job on any Lebron team must know that they are a dead man walking and it is only a matter of time before the media makes them the fall guy when Lebron inevitably loses.
