I think this would be an interesting challenge: you start out with 20 available points, stage 1 evolutions are 1 point, stage 2 are 2 points, stage 3 are 5 points, and legendaries are 6 points. You MUST catch a team that adds up to the point total. Feel free to adjust the alloted point total or values of pokemon

Break the Bank Challenge. You both start with 20 bucks in the bank. 3 random trades to start - 1 skip available but it costs 5 bucks. Then you each have 5 minutes to catch as many pokemon as possible with pokeballs - 1 masterball available but it costs 10 bucks. Pick the best 3 and add em to the squad. Remaining points can be spent once teams are finalized. Stage 1 evolution - 1 point Move tutor or TM/HM - 2 points Stage 2/Stone/Condition evolution- 3 points Have fun boys!

Pop Culture Random Challenge: You choose each other from random encounters. The person to whom the Pokemon appears says what movie, band, book, famous person, etc. he associates this Pokemon with. The other person takes this Pokemon or skips it, then you say what Pokemon it is. Everyone has 4 skips. - you take what you see, there is no fully evolving in this challenge. Down is probably always best. You either get a full evo or a second evo and a second stage going down isn’t too bad a loss since it’ll be subpar anyways

Yes, choosing up does have a 66.7% chance of improving…but always by one stage. It has a 33.3% chance to decrease by two stages. This makes all choices equal. Choosing ‘up’ outcomes: +1, +1, -2 Choosing ’down’ outcomes: -1, -1, +2 Everything equal.

Going down seems to be the best option in theory because they seem to catch not many mid stages and getting from final evolution into mid Evo isn't the worst thing and base stage into final is perfect. With that you have a 2/3 chance to get at least something decent (especially because many mid stage where seen as the final Evo till a later Gen)

Great video guys as usual, maybe for an idea you guys can divide 4 gens each to catch pokemon from as in one person gets gen 1-4, the other gets 5-8. Unless you do it on Scarlett or Violet then make one of the gens neutral available fo both. Idk but you guys are the best!

The thing is, it's a Rock-Paper-Scissors type of challenge. For the person doing the encountering, a first stage is Rock, a mid stage is Scissors, and a final stage is Paper. For the person doing the choosing, up is Rock, stay is Scissors, and down is Paper.

Overworld encounter Random Pokémon Random abilities Fully evolved 3 skips Spin the wheel to determine feature of Pokémon to capture

I think there is a strategy to be had, we just haven't figured it out yet. Hypothetical: Every single encounter you have is a 3-stage. That means there's only 33⅓% chance of baby and 66⅔ chance of decent. As boring as it would be, going up or staying seem to be equivalent, and going down is the weakest option with 33⅓ payoff. From there: Which is best: always up? Always stay? Alternate up and Stay? Or random Up/stay? That's for the experts to decide.

Finally!! I think I also suggested this idea a year ago.

I was curious about a random Pokémon with allowing held items that would be randomized by like spinning a wheel or something could be interesting and it would make held items abilities useful

Do a BST themed challenge. Basically you get 3 random starters. You’re told the BST And types of the 3 pokemon. If you can guess any of the pokemon based on that info you can choose to take it yourself or force the opponent to take it. If you guess all wrong you randomly take 1 instead.

Pokemon D4 Dice Battle Challenge: Randomize all Pokemon in Sword & Shield with movesets based on their type, then spend 30 minutes catching whatever you want. You can catch as many legends as you want, but you can only use one in the final battle. Also in the final battle, each time you attack, roll a D4 die and use whatever move it corresponds to.

Heres an idea you get random encounters but you have 3 skips for the enemy team. So if chill/quick gets a starter as a random encounter then you skip it for them.

Vid idea: Counter tactics: Catch pokemon one at a time showing the other what was caught moves and all giving each a chance to go find another pokemon to either counter or overpower what you saw.

I have an idea you guys can catch whatever you want in the terrarium of blueberry academy (limit to one legendary each though) but you divide the terrarium in half so one person gets two biomes the other person gets the other two biomes & you can only catch three pokémon per biome

Try catching 10 Randomized pokemon (Random encounters or not, your choice), and build whatever team you would like with it. Then before the battle, flip a coin, if it is heads, switch teams with Chilln, if it is tails, keep your team.

Championship Battle One Legendary One Mythical One Ultra Beast One Starter One Pseudo Legendary One Personal Starter (EG Pikachu or Arcanine. A Pokémon not from the list above ) You may not repeat a typing. If you choose a Fire/Flying legendary then you cannot choose a Fire/flying type again 20 minutes to catch and decide on a team . If you fail to fill a team out then you must battle with what you have. You may use the move tutor on one pokemon to add two moves No Skips . Enjoy

The best strat for this is always hold because the bigger the mon the easier it is to spot meaning most choice will be full evos

Go catch 6 of whatever Pokémon you want, give a time limit or not, after you catch them you put them in whatever order you want and then each of you choose a number 1-6 and whatever Pokémon that number is they get, you do that 3 times and then fight, or something along the lines of that

Another video idea: you get a random encounter, don’t reveal what Mon it is, you catch it, you let the other player know only the moves, and he has to decide, based on the moves it has, if keeping it or skipping. In case of a skip, a coin will be tossed, to confirm the skip, or to give it to the other player.

Challenge idea: only catch dual type mons where their types are weak against one another. For example: Tropius (grass is weak to flying), Magcargo (fire is weak to rock), or ludicolo (water is weak to grass). Oxymoron challenge.

I liked that idea but I also like the idea of if you say up on a fully evolved like charzard then it goes to the next pokemon in the pokedex same with charmander.. if you say down it goes to pokemon before it in the pokedex

Same title but Pokedex version. Catch a Pokemon for the other player and tell them who it is. They can choose to go up one number, stay or go down one number. Example: Quick catches a Pikachu. Chilln can stay or go up one number to Raichu or down one number to Arbok. No looking beforehand of course. This will test both of your dex number knowledge.

Should do the same thing except you know the encounter and going up or down takes you to the next or previous Pokédex entry

What if you just battle each other with broken Pokemons, that have even custom moves and abilities? That would be cool to see and all the strats you can make with that! 😊❤

Hey, quick gg mabye try a op challenge simple rules are. 1.both of you are going to catch pokemon for each other but they have to be op as in full evo 2. Try to give each pokemon you catch an op move set and skill 3. After that, just give the pokemon you catch to the other player, and it just comes down to speed and rmj and luck .❤❤❤

New Gym Leader Challenge idea: in SV, you each secretly choose a non-dragon typing, then catch the first fully evolved randomized pokemon of that typing. BUT, just like the SV Gym Leaders, you may at any time catch a pokemon you see that isn't that typing, but you have to Terastalize it to your typing as soon as it comes out. For example, if you choose Psychic type and see a Giratina, you can catch it as long as you then change its Tera Type. If you don't, you can still Tera one of your pokemon, but it has to be the same as your type.

You answer and your opponent chooses which one he wants based on the ranking. Example 1: Starters: Gothitelle, Rowlet, Salamence Question: Which Pokemon has the best drip? Answer: The Pokmon on the left has the best drip and the Pokemon on the right has the worst drip. Example 2: Starters: Buneary, Machoke, Swampert Question: Which Pokemon would you most likely go on a date with? Answer: I would most likely go on a date with the middle Pokemon. And I won't go on a date with the left one. No chance.
