I know people always say this, but I love all the silly puns you say during the battle. Like “Politoed doesn’t like apples” or “I’m not in the *mood* for that!”.
So two things that could've maybe helped QuickGG win: 1. Retaliate has it's power doubled if one of your Pokemon fainted the turn before, that's why it lasered that Jynx. 2. Teleport isn't useless like in earlier Gens. It has negative priority and switches your Pokemon, so if he used it instead of switching to Abomasnow, Scolipede could've tanked the Fire Pledge and then Abomasnow could've come in and been at full HP. From there it should've outsped and could've gone for Dive.
@@peekopyro1840 I mean, Megahorn was absolutely the right choice there. Coalossal only resists and not double resists bug moves, so a 120 Megahorn *1.5 (STAB) /2 (Resistance) comes out at power 90. Retaliate is power 70, doubled to 140 because of it's effect, but it's also resisted, which means it has a power of 70. Basically, there were no good options for the Scolipede v Coalossal fight, but Megahorn was the better choice.
Video idea: You both catch 1 random encounter. Then you spin a wheel with the following categories - EVOLVE, CATCH OR STEAL. You keep spinning until you have a team of 6. Evolve - evolve a Pokémon of your choice with a rare candy Steal - Swap a Pokémon with your opponent, you get to pick Catch - could be split into overworld or random encounters
Quick saying "Rolycoly evolves into Roggenrola" (both babies btw) .. has same energy as the WBKids pokemon "Which pokemon does Arbok evolve into? SEVIPER" lmao
GF/Mom/Relative/Friend Challenge: show a person you know who knows nothing about pokemon 6 or 8 groups of 3 mons and have them pick 1. They pick 1 of 3 and that's your team (or pick 6 of 8)
I was literally thinking of your content when I got the notification. And I immediately found myself smiling. Started the video right away! Let`s goooo!!!
Chillin: *gets missed, lands a crit and defense drop same turn* also Chillin: "I've been asleep one turn rng isnt' fair! No one wants to see this!" As often as RNG blesses you compared to Quick, yes I do. The moody boost sweep woulda been so nice. But of course the one stat Chillin needed to drop drops twice in a row AND he gets a one turn only sleep.
Suggested this before, thought I'd try here. Idea for an "It's how accurate!?" Challenge. Your pokemon has the moves Steel Wing (90%), Hurricane (70%), Inferno (50%), and Sheer Cold (30%). Using random encounters, you attack with any move you like. If it hits you run, if it misses you catch. You get two catches per move, totalling 8 pokemon, so best save your Sheer Colds for legendaries and Steel Wings for babies. Could also give your pokemon Hustle to increase your chance to miss.
Challenge idea: Spin a wheel with gym leaders/elite 4 members on it. What ever the wheel lands on you have to go out and catch the first pokemon you see that the gym leader uses.
Love the videos fellas! This one had me 😂 over the description of the picks. For a idea though for the next video I think you should be able to dyno max but it has to be your worst Pokemon or a baby
I got a challenge idea. 10 random encounters, Pick 6 out of those 10 at the end, When it comes time to battle, each of you gets to ask 1 question about the other's Pokémon that the other has to answer (either once per Pokémon or once per turn.) Example: "What is this Pokémon's ability?" Or "do you have any water types?" Sort of like the Guess Who board game but with a twist. I noticed you guys usually ask each other a lot of questions, and the answer is shrouded in mystery from them. I thought it would be fun if some of those questions got answered.
Time 15 of asking: Challenge Idea: Mirrormatch You wanna find out who is really the best trainer? Try this: You both catch 3 over world encounters. Infinite skips. After locking in your 3 pokemon, you copy the exactly same 3 pokemon of the other trainer (same moves and ability). This will make the battle a huge mindgame, with you guys trying to outsmart each other. Therefor choose your pokemon wisely right from the start❤️
Man oh man a silly and fun challenge exactly what we needed yayayaya cheers qweek hope your holding up ok with that crazy last week hope we see you back in stream soon
I would love to see a "Second Chance" challenge. In the challenge, you encounter random encounters that aren't Pseudo, legendary, or mythical. Catch 10 random ones and pick the best 6. Then in the battle, one regular revive can be used on any pokemon during the fight. Hence the "second chance"
Challenge idea You have to catch eight dual type Pokémon, all with completely different typings. So you have 16 different typings on your teams, then choose your top six mons and fight
Dude that Moody, Sporing Decidueye could've easily soloed Chillin's team. But with a base speed of 70, yeah it's no wonder Stuntank outsped Decidueye (Stuntank has a base speed of 84 lol)
Challenge ideas: 1. You can only catch a single type of all the types in the game. If the pokemon is dual type you lose both types. 2. One pokemon from every Gen 3. One random pokemon from each route 4. The wheel spin with all the different Generations but only fighting babies.
Great battle. That ending went hard. You should do a VS where you choose between 4-6 options per round (the 3 'mon that are there and 1-3 lies). If you guess a correct one you keep it, but if you guess a lie then the other chooses which of the real mon you get.
This gives me an idea. Idk if it might work as I never messed around with AI but here it is: Can you show an AI a picture and let it describe what it sees? Based on the AIs description you must choose your starter. If the descriptions are difficult to figure out you might add a free skipperoski, if the other guessed correctly.
Idea for another Video: random starter and then try to manipulate the other to take or avoid one you don't want him to have. Like "if I were you I wouldn't take the left one" or "the one in the middle is a legandary". You can be honest or lie about everything just to make him to choose what you want, everything is allowed.
I am again posting this in hopes of this becoming a challenge Love your vids along with Chillin Here's an idea for you both: Roll a D10/ Spin a Wheel Whatever the number, you must encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails). Overworld encounter Random Pokémon Random abilities Fully evolved 3 skips Roll 10 sided die/ spin wheel with 10 numbers to determine feature of Pokémon to capture
Challenge idea You catch whatever Pokémon you want, but you can’t double up on a best stat. So for example, you catch a Pokémon with its attack as its highest stat, you then can’t catch another Pokémon that also has attack as highest stat. So you’ll end up with a team with one Pokémon championing each stat.
You should combine challenges like the random stats with a chain catching. That you have to catch a type with a chain from a previous Pokémon, but all the stats are randomized, for some extra fun.
POKEDOKU CHALLENGE Chillin & Quick both complete a PokeDoku, and then make a team out of their choices in Sword & Shield with random movesets according to type, taking 6 of the 9. Whoever gets the lowest (best) PokeDoku score gets to fully evolve their choices!
Well. It has been over a month since I first suggested this. Think I need a new idea. I have an idea for Scarlet and Violet. The two of you catch one Pokémon of each type. 18 each. Now. Once you have caught all of them. You can take turns choosing to pass or take. So for a fire type. If quick takes his fire type, then chillin has to take his. And vice versa. Same rule for passing. Now a couple of rules, 1. only one legendary. You can choose to catch only one. So for dragon. If you see a dialga first, you can choose if you want that dragon or wanna save you legend for later. 2. Only one of each. So if you caught a gallade for fighting. Then you can’t catch a gallade for psychic. 3. Random moves and abilities. 4 no backtracking.
Here’s a decent pokemon challenge a decent one! So you know in the wild sometimes you have pokemon who run from you, chase you or are just docile? You guys have to spin a wheel where one will have to catch one of those 3 options: Aggressive, Scared or docile. You have 8 catches so incase you get trash movesets.
I got a great challenge. You guys both have three random starters, choice lock, but rock paper scissors decides who gets to choose. So if chillin wins and picks middle quick must take middle as well.
How about this twist: Players are presented with three Pokémon options without knowing what they are. Each player takes turns selecting one of the options to keep, skip, or give to their opponent. The catch is that the player giving the Pokémon doesn't know what it is either, adding an extra layer of mystery and strategy to the game. Players must use their intuition and knowledge of Pokémon types to make the best choices while also trying to outsmart their opponent.
New challenge idea Put all gym leaders on a randomizer wheel Spin the wheel Whatever it lands on, you take that gym leader’s ace Pokemon Do it ten times Build your team. You can choose whether to randomize move sets and abilities or if you will make competitive teams
I feel like grav apple is the new glacial lance, it feels like it shows up all the time. 😆 Could you guys do a rival challenge? Put game rivals on a wheel, spin it, and catch the first pokemon you see in the wild that the person you got used. Could also do this with, like evil teams etc. Please? 🥰
Y'all should do a challenge where you spin a wheel to determine how you catch something (so the wheel would have like shake a tree, trainer choice, random encounter etc) you get 3 skips and don't full evolve
Discord idea? You both should turn these challenges into different Showdown leagues, could do it as a league or even as a survivor challenge, each week you get different Pokémon based on a set challenge?
Idea for a challenge: You catch 1 pokemon, then flip a coin and then, depending on the outcome, you catch a pokemon that's either STRONG or WEAK to its current type (or first one) I.e. you catch a Tentacruel and with a Heads you catch a Strong (Elec/grass) abd with Tails you catch a (Fire/rock)
