Incredible amount of work you’ve done here Lee, I’m always gobsmacked at how you manage to get serious amounts completed, as most of us only make a start and move on to other projects without finishing.

I found a 1/35 river patrol boat (PBR) from Tamiya that you've inspired me to build and convert to sci-fi gothic. What I wonder is if I can cut and modify the hull so that it sits on the tabletop at its waterline.

Awesome! I'm going to cut mine flat too. Might need to add some sprue pieces to brace it once the bottom section os removed.

@@tabletopskirmishgames My dad served on a PBR, and just recently passed, so I am building a sci-fi conversion as an homage, a kind of tribute. He hated talking about the war, so making it sci-fi sort of knocks the edge off and makes it more fun.

Yes! A Swift Boat made by Revell. I'll be kit bashing it to make it fit in with 40k and using it as a transport for the Catachans. Will make some rules based on a Chimera and have a scenario to play out using it in a battle.

Thats a hell of a lot to paint. But I am not worried about that. You are also, In my opinion, a fantastic painter, that is able to get to the point of what is looking good on the table while saving time to actually play the game.
