Update on the coil and hrt 

Thank you so much for sharing this I had a coil fitted 3 weeks ago and I’m not getting on with it at all. Very low mood increased anxiety and very bloated will now be going to get removed as I now know it’s not just me xx

Thanks for sharing your experience with HRT. I’ve had the coil for a month now and have gained weight and feeling so bloated. Also it just stresses me out to know I’ve got a foreign body inside of me, should have thought about it better! Anyways, getting it removed and will try the vaginal bio-identical progesterone and see how that goes. Keep us updated how you are getting on. Good luck with it all!

You can take the progesterone vaginally and it reduces the side effects.Also drs always up the estrogen when it's not often needed as it's our progesterone that starts to diminish first.The coil is a synthetic progesterone so often it's not tolerated well.

I have my coil after pregnancy. Horrible thing to have. And didn't stop me to get pregnant. In the end it just fell out. I'm very fragile if become to get pregnant. I was normally getting pregnant at least twice a year, abortion clinic all year. We already have kids we didn't want any more. Any contraption wasn't working.I have same partner for over 12 years . And that was Horrible for us. In the end he did vasectomy. I have no pregnancy for last for years. Life changing procedure from women point of vue. And your sex life dose get better because you don't have that worry of getting pregnant.

It's progesterone to blame (that's what's in mirena coil as well). Same for me. I always had low oestrogen, which is why progesterone was so bad for me. I don't have anything more constructive to offer, except to say I hope you find what works for you x
