There was a time when Wolf's Gravestone was considered the best weapon in game because it was BIS for Diluc who was also considered the best DPS in game.

Dehyas weapon will be ranked much higher than dehya was herself😅

Skyward harp is a good bow for many characters. It should stay where it was.

The only suggestion I can find is switching Song of Broken Pines and Redhorn Stonethresher's placement. Song of Broken Pines is only good for Eula and Razor, average for P. Xinyan, no-go for everyone else. Redhorn Stonethresher meanwhile is best in-slot for Itto, Noelle, and Xinyan; higher teir weapon for Diluc, Eula (with Benny buff), Razor and DPS Dehya (ER sands EoSF with C6 Benny buff; yup her Burst doesn't proc the passive, but she still benefits a lot from Crit Dmg that it makes Redhorn's passive negligeable) ; above average for other Claymore DPS (Chongyun, Beidou). Another suggestion: Skyward Spine have the same viability as Skyward Pride. It may be outclassed by The Catch, but you can only get one The Catch per account. Skyward Spine is a good weapon for Raiden (if Catch is equipped to Xiangling or you don't have Engulfing), Xiangling (same condition as Raiden's), Xiao (if other weapons are not available, this is still a great DPS and ER consolidation weapon for him), Shenhe (high Base Attack), EoSF Melt Rosaria and Burst Zhongli. It may also be equipped as a replacement for Favonius reliant characters if FavLance isn't available: Shield Thoma, Mika, Yaoyao, Yun Jin, Candace. Putting it with the same teir as that Donut just because a single-acquired weapon is better than it is just unfair for its viability as a consolidation weapon when weapons in a teir higher than it have too low of a viability than it.

The key of khaj-nisut is a clear cut case for the 1-2 character tier, as it’s only really good on 2 characters and borderline useless for everyone else

The Eula Weapon Song of Broken Pines should also be in the niche tier, not?

Lost Prayer should probably be higher, due to it being a good stat stick even though you cannot get the most out of it, due to the field-time requirement. Skyward harp should be higher as well, it's still really good for fischl, yoimiya and decent on ganyu, childe, tighnari and yelan.

I think nahid BIS is also a decent weapon on Sucrose. And she can also share em with he ability.

IWTL back at it... It`s a no brainer that Mistspliter > Jade Cutter in almost every possible way And the difference between Aqua and Hunter is only 8% elemental DMG but they are in different tiers...

I watched someone use the Key to turn c2 Ayaka into a support for melt Diluc. It was a pure hp/er build on Tenacity. It was wild

The only thing I want to mention is that we don't even know if we'll ever be able to get Tighnari's and Dehya's Weapons again, since they probably won't get a Rate Up Banner anytime soon since they joined the Standard Banner 5 Stars. Also Wolf's Gravestone in "Usable but not worth pulling" is kinda funny to me since you can't exactly aim for it specifically 😅

i agree with mostly everything, but I would move Eula's Song of Broken pines either a tier or 2 lower. It's not good on a lot of characters, and it got powercrept by Dehya's weapon even for Eula.

Staff of scarlet sands can in some situations even beat out Homa on Hu Tao, it certainly isn't "Not that great on Hu Tao"

Nahidas weap is also now the BiS for Sucrose as well due to the absurd Em It gives her, and thru her passive, the entire team

I think this video needs two lists to show the difference between powerlevel and value. The Kej is a really powerful weapon on few chars. But the overall value of the weapon is really limited which lowers the value a lot. I think doing power vs. value next to each other could help some people to understand why some weapons that seems powerful are on the lower value list.

The key of khaj should’ve been in the “1-2 character” tier. Your argument for putting it in the A tier should’ve been applied to Redhorn. And even then, redhorn is much more universal due to crit dmg being used by almost every character whereas not too many characters scale off of hp. Just my thoughts tho. Also wsg should be higher or maybe even switch places with broken pines. Although broken pines is good on physical characters(the few of them), all of them can use wsg and it performs almost as good as broken pines but the deciding factor for me atleast is that bit can be used by more characters. Although it may not be their bis, it still is much more usable than broken pines

The EM-scaled buff in Charged Shots with the Hunter's Path bow is also a nice boost for an on-field Diona, specifically the C4 quick-release charged shots while having the +200 EM from the burst of C6 Diona. Pair this with a Shenhe cryo buff quill or Xiangling/Dehya's off-field Pyro attacks to enable Diona to be played offensively.

Wolfs gravestone is good as a support weapon, should be higher because of its passive, not the same tier as aquila

Feels good to have pulled on the Weapon banner 4 times(won all of them) as a F2P and 3 of them are S tier. I got Amos, Aqua, Beacon of reed sea, and Mistsplitter.

Key could have been more universal if the passive party wide buff can trigger off-field. Specially now that there are only 5 weapon that can buff the party.

Key of Nut, Engulfing lightning and Broken pines should be niche. Skyward Harp, Atlas and Wolfs gravestone should be moved up to A. Almost all units in the game can make use of these weapons. Nahidas weapon could arguably be A tier considering it can be with by Yae(Dendro), Nahida, Lisa and Sucrose.

8:00 thats wrong. Scarlet sands acually perfroms as good as homa and even better than homa on some scenarios on hutao. Keep in mind hutao's blood blossom (the flower thingy) is considered skill dmg and it can be used to stack scarlet sands passive fully.

Nahida’s BiS can be very good on Aggravate Lisa and Yae. Still not enough to move it up on the tier list but it´s another use for it.

I was saving for SOBP for eula but I got the beacon unexpectedly and it was perfect for her. Even if dehya was lackluster, her weapon is top tier.

The thing about The Key of Khaj-Nisut is that for its party wide buff to work, you need your character on field stacking it three times (as it doesn't stack off-field). It obviously works great for Nilou, but for Shinobu and Layla? Not so much, as you just want to use their E's and switch to other characters, not remain on them for the next 5 seconds. Shinobu needs her c4 specifically to apply the stacks faster and even then, she has to waste her time on the burst animation. I really wouldn't put it that high in that tier, or in that tier at all...

Im glad all the sumeru desert set weapons are proving their worth, even tho they all look the same im quite fond of their particular design 💛

Hey @IWTL! Loved the list and I'm happy to see some of my favourite weapons ranked highly hehe. However I feel like the 'niche' tier creates a lot of confusion since it's debatable which weapons can be considered 'niche' or particular to just 1 to 2 characters. Maybe if you get rid of the niche tier but add 'how wide-use is it?' as a metric in the ranking, it will reflect on a tier list more clearly. Just a suggestion! Love your content, long time watcher here! :D

I wish Sumeru Weapons like Scarlet Sands, Nisut and Reed Sea are standard and 50 50 pullable. Just like Skyward sets etc. 😭

I don't think weapons should be ranked based on whether the character its best for is meta or not. It should be based on how much value an account gets when they get that weapon. Like I value Polar Star more than Aqua since if you don't have Yelan , then Polar Star is much more universal weapon for most bow characters than Aqua is. Similarly, for an Account if you don't have Hu tao , then SSS is better pull than Staff of Homa since its better on Xiangling who everyone has , its better weapon for Rosaria who needs Crit rate for crit rate share passive and also for Melt Rosaria.

Light of follar incision should be higher it had double crit damage than mitspliter

I don't think WGS needed to be brought down that much. I never saw WGS as a DPS claymore anyway, it just forcefeeds you ATK until you drown from diminishing returns. It's mostly an Amazing support weapon and a good Claymore for Diluc if you have EM hourglass instead of ATK%.

I have 5 5* weapons on my almost ar58 account. 2 skyward blades and skyward harp (from standard), redhorn that i got in a random 10 pull and aqua simulacra that i actually was pulling for. I had never pulled on the weapon banner before december of last year, and altho i dont have itto, im so glad i got yelans weapon, was super worth it!

still gonna pull for LoFi on its rerun bc it has a cute visual effect when its passive is active (it looks like a sprout🌱). I used to pull weaps for its stats and strong passive, but being AR60 for a year and a half now, I realized that 4* and craftable weaps aren't so bad to do abyss.

it can troublesome to get all stacks on mistsplitter, can be placed lower in a tier bc it requires either self infusion or using c6 bennett/chongyun/candace

Why move staff of homa down and jade cutter up when they are basically the same weapon?

Funny coz I was just looking through Iwintolose's weapon tier list videos last night and wondered when he will update his list.

I think people really dont read or underestimate Key of Kaj nisut or dont think enough to understand. It gives 140-150 em in nilou team to whole party which is pretty much a gamechanger for nilou teams, and gives around 350em to nilou herself (along with 88% hp) Another thing that makes this weapon amazing is that in spread (or quicken) teams .. it can give upto 140 em to everyone (nahida, tighnari, yae, fishl, alhaitham) if equipped on tripple hp kuki (which is ok in quicken teams), it is as good if not better than elegy there.

I kinda regret not going for the homa and simulaca banner. Next patch looks to be Amos and dendro donut and floating dream and key which are fine but not anywhere near the level of the homa simulacra combo

My take on aqua, its a great weapon, if only the bow characters were more popular. Yelan is basically the only character that can really use the weapon, and though she has a lot of damage, she is still an off fielder meaning her damage contribution is still going to be lower than your main dps in most cases making pulling for the weapon not as efficient. As for other bow characters, yoimiya ganyu and tignari, they arent as meta and they have amos which is a standard banner weapon and is basically same in strength and yoimiya has rust which is a 4* and with how aquas passive works the weapons damage output evens out in the longterm. Last to say, fischl is a great user of aqua, but again being an offield character, the damage you gain overall is not as significant. So yes, aqua is a generalistic good weapon, but it has too many nuances so that justifying it to be the premier weapon to pull very hard, imo mistsplitter homa and kaguras are better weapons just because sword spear and catalyst characters are more prevalent

how is song of broken pines not moved down the list for the same reasons other did

Since we will always have double character banner, its impossible for Beacon and Hunter's path to be a featured weapon banner. In a sense they are no longer obtainable in the game by any mean (unless hoyo add them into standard pool). Am I right in this ? The other weapon with this treatment is probably Memory of Dust and Unforged which make them probably the real Limited 5 star weapon.

Aqua simulacra is great, but it lacks base attack, i have homa mistsplitter and aqua, over all i think aqua falls below both weapons, i feel like homa should be higher in s tier, cause its bis for sub dps zhongli, hutao, and it works on basically every character dealing dmg

Homa should be below Elegy with Jade right behind it imo. Everyone says Jade Cutter is universal, but the only character I ever wanna use it on is Ayato. There aren't any other good main dps sword characters I can think of that actually want it plus it's usually just as good or better to just give a favonius to supports. Homa feels like it works on more characters that are actually good, like Hu Tao, Zhongli, Xiao, and Xiangling

A Thousand Floating Dreams kind of works on Yae too. I've pulled it before getting Kagura's verity and it's nice on aggravate Yae

I think Wolf's gravestone is still as the same only because this claymore was for limited time and now it's impossible to get it. Since dehya wanna be a standard banner character... There is no point of changing a old weapon's rank of the new weapon is better but you can't get it again if you missed it once.

8:26 I think the buff from Key of Khaj-Nisut is considerably huge. Let's calculate it shall we: For Kuki (assume 30k HP) personal buff: (0.12% x 3) x 30000 = 108 EM For Kuki buffing her teammates: (0.2% x 3) x 30000 = 180 EM For Nilou (assume 60k HP) personal buff: (0.12% x 3) x 60000 = 216 EM For Nilou buffing her teammates: (0.2% x 3) x 60000 = 360 EM! 360 EM is the largest EM buff I've heard in this game. It's crazy. No wonder IWTL put it on the higher rank of A tier.

I personally think that Vortex Vanquisher should a 1 or 2 tiers higher maybe in "pull only for 1-2 characters" just because of how it can benefit Shenhe, the stacks are very easy to obtain and keep up with just her burst especially with c2, from my testing it can almost keep up with Calamity Queller with max stacks and the protected by shield buff with around 20 atk difference, without the protected by shield buff it sadly falls down to Calamity Quellers atk without its passive, overall it might not be a great weapon but if it should ever be on a banner and you want to upgrade your shenhes atk it is a nice choice and deserves at least c-b rank.

I have no idea why Song of Broken Pines is in A tier while LoFI is in situational.

I agree with the video, there are weapons that are strong but they are for particular pjs that if you don't use them, they are not so useful in other pjs, that's why homa and amos were the best weapons along with the jade sword 😷

I feel like Lost Prayers is still a really good weapon for on-field dps users, like for example Nahida (on-field) or scara

Things I like about Dehya: Her weapon Music in her ost

The funny part is that Dehya and tighnari weapon prob wont ever come back, since there wont be new banners for these two characters and we are always getting double banners, so the two weapons available on weapon banner will always be the signature weapons for the two 5 stars on event banners. Albedo and Klee dont have signature, but they are sword and catalyst chars... So we have to wait until a single banner pops up and hope to Dehya or Tigs Weapon to appear on the banner :)

Is Lost Prayer really all that bad? I don't own it but on paper it looks like a good general usage weapon similar to Jade Cutter. Also based on the list there's only one catalyst in the worth pulling tier. We should at least have something else worth pull for other than only a number 1 catalyst.

I’ve never wished on the weapon banner, I’m chilling with one 5 star (Amos) that I don’t even use cause the character it’s on isn’t on my main two teams. Idk why I’m here but I’ll use this when I eventually give in to the gacha for better damage 😅

Pulled Aqua when I went for Homa, but im not upset. I'll just wait for a really good bow character for it. I have the BP weapon for Tiggy and Prototype for my Ganyu rn anyway with good stats

Sometimes a weapon can be amazing on a character but you also gotta consider how amazing that character is. For that reason I find it odd that the Beacon of the Reed Sea is above Homa considering that the characters who can use it arent generally as good as the characters that can use homa. also there is a lot more characters that can use homa.

Proud to say I only have weapons from the highest tier and I’m only missing elegy and dehyas weapon.

I'm still so salty I lost the 25/75 on Jade cutter/Key banner. I would've made used of either of those two swords and who knows when we'll get an hp scaling four or three star sword :(

Aqua, Hunters Path, and Light of Foliar Incision all have the same crit value as PJC and have better passives, yet are lower on the list. You can even argue this same thing for Staff of Scarlet Sands. Key and SOBP are literally on good/usuable on a very few amount of characters, but are in the A tier category somehow. This tier list honestly makes no sense and could have been researched a lot better.

In Diluc teams with Bennett isn't Redhorn still better then Beacon? I believe speed runners still use Redhorn. Plz correct me if I'm wrong.

Redhorn should be one tier higher because its good on a lot of charcs it can be used on eula diluc chongyun bis for itto bis for noelle bis for xinyan
