0:10 decimanting what u cannot even clear trash lol! also elmental res basicly do not work after 3-4th normal colossus they are worthless. Ajax dont bring any value to the table when other classes can solo kill hardmode bosses under 1 sec. Ajax shields and tank abilities are useless. And tamer for hardmode bosses is extremly weak due to lack of weakpoint dmg and crits dmg/chance.
@@stephenmoore5390 Change class :), if ajax will not get buffed or other chars nerfed no one gonna play ajax, people dont need ajax shields or any abilities if Lepic can tank dmg almost as much as ajax and he kill hardmode pyromaniac in less than 20 seconds. Same for other dps characters, Viessa, bunny they all can do solo hardmode bosses under 30s-1min just using abilities

@@terencebrock5206 i am speaking facts, its not my opinion my opinion is aswell ajax is fun, buit facts are its extremely weak and usless for any game content. You see it is becouse u didint reach hardmode so everything on normal is extremly easy. There is no good Trans mod for Ajax unfortunatley!
If you didn't know, if you put a Crystalize Catalyst in the Sub Attack spot, you'll get an extra 5 points and since all Sub Attack slots are M, it'll never be wasted. It'll basically give your Void Walk for free.
People also need to understand that if you see a RAINBOW AJEX BUBBLE it gives a 10% fire arm damage boost and a 20% explosive damage boost. It's incredibly frustrating when you place down a DPS shield for Gleys and they just entirely ignore it. Please folks, read your hud. The little buff you see when you walk into a rainbow shield? That's a damage buff. Where you can't be hurt by non aoe effects. Stand in it. Please.

I am glad you mentioned that skill range can be a bad thing since tall colossi can poke their guns through your cube easier if it is too big. It makes a nice balancing act between a better 2 and 3 or 1 and 4.
The good thing about the dome is that even if the boss does peek a boo you can just step outside of the dome behind it and he still can’t hit you because he’s shooting inside of the dome so 0 of his attacks will be able to go anywhere except inside the dome so just simply step outside and your still fine
I’m pretty new to the game, and just wanted to say thank you for making a standard Ajax build guide. 90% of the time, the builds I come across are for ultimate Ajax. I enjoy this build setup, quick and easy to use. The only thing I added to the mobbing setup was the Hp Collector mod for a lil more survivability. Cheers and look forward to more Ajax content!

Don't you take more dmg but you get more hp? I equipped it and the dmg% on the left were red and not green But i didn't test it, but with that name it would make sense if you take more dmg 😅
Why not save for ultimate Ajax? I have normal Ajax but I wouldn’t use more than 2 crystals on reg ajax and I ONLY use ajax. Im saving my assets for ult ajax
@@thorinhannahs4614 the ultimate comes with 4 discounted slots instead of 2 and has better overall stats so if your gonna main a character. Put 2 crystal things n use him to grind for the ultimate and that will eventually save you resources for other weapons n characters
@damazsta The gameplay loop is to farm. So make the Ajax. I do have the best he can be while I work on getting Ult Ajax. I don't see much reason not to do that as the game is farming and grind and wait and farm and grind and etc.
@@Sphyrnaz ultimates has certain mods that the regular version dont have. Ultimates have better base stats which mean when you add multipliers their stats get even crazier. Just not worth it to waste resources on regular characters. Once you get ONE ultimate character it becomes easier to farm em. I haven’t spent a dollar on this game and dont plan to.. but It does take time. Ive been pretty lucky with rng. But if you farm for a day or 2 ultimate Ajax or Bunny is not hard to get

Since the dmg proportion of Void Charge is bugged and the only other skill scaling with DEF is Orbit Barrier, it absolutely makes no sense to go higher than 50 k DEF, because thats around the number you get massive diminishing returns on the DEF-stat...that's already proven through math on youtube. When the time comes and Void Charge gets fixed, it's another story of course.
I spent 6 hours farming The Chapel on hard to get the shield conversion (def). With a 30% drop chance, how is it possible to not have had it drop. I've farmed 7 descendants and have never seen this kind of thing. It couldn't have taken more than 10-15 minutes each run. The odds of this are astronomical. I also tried 4 other missions that could drop this and nothing.
I dont know this build just seems kinda overkill on the defense. I just use body enhancement and have my thundercage juiced up. Have 75k defense, 3700 shield and 14k HP and I’m plenty tanks. Have the full set of the annihilation components. I’m soloing the devourer on hard in like 2-4 minutes depending on ammo.
Solo boss lepic with zero sustain or defense still performs perfectly fine. Its not misleading, its a benchmark for solo DPS. I have solo'd every hard boss that is able to be private with that build and its parse was shown on devourer with a 5 second kill... All 2minutes or less except pyro and swamp. Still chunks on Obstructer/Frost
Hey I’m a beginner and this video is great but I’m actually looking more for a guide on Ajax skills, how they work and how to use them in different situations because at the moment I’m just spamming them and want to know how to use them in a better rotation.

Yeah it’s just I’m getting used to the abilities and how they work for example the void cube (bubble) is supposed to protect you which it does but enemies can walk right inside it and attack you which is annoying! Just unsure on when to use certain abilities and many guides and videos only show how to build characters (gear, modules ect) not the actual skills and abilities and when to use them.

I would love for you to test SKILL POWER MODIFIER mod with this. I know skill power modifier will boost both damage skills. As well as NON-ATTRIBUTE SPECIALIST mod to see if both stack. I know skill power modifier and skill power are different categories. Show us how to do a casting build on Ajax. Great content.
Someone posted this on Reddit: "I farmed the Recon Mission - "Vulgus Strategic Outpost" on Normal Difficulty Zone: Fortress - Frozen Valley Just destroy the four objectives and kill the boss within the timer, teleport back to Albion and repeat. The mod is listed on the mission and has a 27.5% chance to drop." I hope that helps.
Finally someone else sees the power of void charge. I think its working damage wise cause i was doing 200k before slapping it on now my abilities are doing 400-500k
Like it bro, was leaning towards the secondary. But yeah I agree, I don’t think void charge is doing the damage it should do either I have over 100K defense
On your tamer build, I would replace Concentration priority, with consume magazine. Over 3 secs to reload makes this gun terrible. Even with a Reload Module, it only offsets the negative reload from concentration priority, and it just begins to feel kind of pointless to use.
does your sub attack module matter whether its kick, punch, sword etc? I upgraded the sword a few times and my auto build module thing keeps wanting to put on base punch even tho sword is upgraded.
I think Sharen is pretty unloved and haven’t really seen her played too much. I wonder if she is viable or not, it would be good to see a build for her.
I think choosing Void Charge right now in game not good idea, because there are no encounters where 6 sec stun is needed. Without this mod your skills attacks with SP*5.781 (C skill) and SP*12.904 (V skill). But with this mod your skills attacks with SP*6.349+DEF*0.139 (C skill) and SP*10.603+DEF*0.03 (V skill). Look how small is amount of DEF in this formulas. With mod V skill become 30% weaker and C skill gains only 15-20%. Also this mod requires more mana due to double jump and also this mod requires you to invest all components to DEF which is not efficient for effective HP. For me Body Improvement mod is much better. With all HP on components i have received 28611 HP and 72412 DEF which is ideal balance ~80000 EHP (your current EHP is 48022).
Where do we report the mod "void charge" bug. There are no forums no bug report nothing. This will likely never get fixed as there is no where to report it
i will say there are some builds that absolutle shit on tanky bosses in squads and its just do you read and know what you are doing when it comes to build crafting and min maxing things
Isn't Void Charge bugged rn? I've done damage testing with it and found that Void Walk does marginally more damage while making Expulsion do 29% less damage. Also Expulsion going from Tech to Dimension and the skill power being reduced by 200% to only add 3% defence scaling means 45k defense is only an increase of a few hundred damage. The ability reset on Void Walk is nice but absolutely not worth using over something like Body Enhancement. Also while yes I have a build that takes my Defense up to over 150k, you'd be much better off staying around 40-80k as anything past that only adds single digit % resistance. Scaling into skill range and CD would be more efficient.
Hey fervor. I'm using the tamer but find that the crosshair (aim symbol) gets bigger as I shoot. How can I improve this? is there a mod to get this smaller and more focused? Some assist would be appreciated.
at 70K DEF you get 63.8% DR, while at 80K DEF you get 65.3% DR, that is 1.5% DR increase. at 90K DEF you get 66.7% DR, a 1.4% increase from 80K. finally, at 100K DEF you get 67.8% DR, but the jump from 90K is only 1.1% increase. imo stop at 80K to 90K DEF and use those extra time and effort stacking up more HP
The components seem off to me whats the point of duration if you want to spam your 2 and 3 maybe if you were doing his other ability mod but i fee you can do a 2 and 2 for this sense you can get 25% defense form one of the 2 piece components
I have a hard time not using matrix recomputation i love its survivability as you can tank anything in the game really unless its a wipe mechanic. I pop it to just tank boss damage while i res someone or just tank damage from bosses while i do damage lol then when it ends pop the shield to defelct damage and start my void charges over.
@@Deathcardcodwaw actually I find the shields to be inconsistent sometimes or specifically the bubble. Also there's unfortunately tons of attacks that can go ither above or through the bubble idk why it's designed like that I wish it was like the Titan bubble in destiny but there's certain attacks that can go through usually on boss fights and it's super annoying. And not to mention enemies can just through your bubble not a big deal in normal content but hard mode missions and bosses I find matrix recomp to be the absolute goat because none of that matters. That and bubble specifically gets popped way to easy especially in comparison to titan bubbles in destiny.
nice build but one thing armor damage reduction is marginal so after 80k is best go hp from what i saw is like this you get lets suppose 10% damage reduction on 2k armor, you will get then another 10% on the remaining with double armor so 4k then 8k 16k.... and the damage you take goes like this 90% 81% 73% 64% 58%... is not worth it after 80k, after that the best is go hp

If you're building void charge, then yea a high defense is viable but you will rely more on your skills to stay alive on high level bosses like Obstructer and above due to your low hp. But if you're building around Body Enhancement mod, high HP benefits you more since it will buff your defense and Shield according to your Max HP. My body enhancement mod rn gives me 53k HP w/ 71k Def and 93k Def at 0 shield due to the An Iron Will mod.
You must have the best RNG ever, Ive ran Abandoned Reconstruction Site (hard) no less than 25 times in a row, not only did i never get a memory drop of any kind, the only untimates i got were reactors.
Damage form mod -VOID CHARGE is working as it is in description - Void charge is 17.5% more and Expulsion is only 3%. You need to know thatmod is decreasing dmg form skill modifire and its a lot !!. IMO as it is - waste of points, sorry. I tested it 2 days ago witch made me sad! Probobly mp recovery or something will be better, but still dont have $ to make more test atm.
