(UPDATED) INFINITE CREATURE STORM with Aeve, Progenitor Ooze 🛠 Episode 51 

I love the deck tech. I think I'm going to make an infinite Aeve deck now!

Thank you very much for this Tune-up. At the time I had first sent you this, Green had not been known for its ability to storm, so I was discounting the idea up to this point. That said, the printing of Aeve, as well as several other storm synergies, has made me look forward to "Mono-Green" storm. It also helps that, by fluke, I had recently gotten myself a copy of Food Chain. (my playgroup is fine with this level of power most days) This deck also reminds me of classic elf ball with the inclusion of glimpse of nature and Guardian project. OozeBall, Perhaps. I am also a fan of the inclusion of Tangleroot, a card I consistently forget exists, but always mean to build a deck around. Early Harvest is another gem that up to this point, I didn't even know existed. As such, it will likely find its way into several other decks I own. A few Differences with my list, as well as my reasonings why: I will likely return to Morophon as the commander. While its cost reduction is part of it, it's also the fact I can include several hybrid cards as well. Umori, While not ran as a companion, is both an ooze, and reduces costs, fitting in with the theme of the deck. Privileged position offers a small layer of defense to my board state, and Phyrexian Metalmorph lets me copy an important artifact or creature to continue plays. (Phyrexian Metalmorph may be seen as cheating, but can be cast for 2 life) As well, with my modifications, would likely lead to a couple more storm spells that, while not quite as flavorful, help if Aeve is not in the command zone, like Aetherflux reservoir and Chatterstorm, as well as more means to search Aeve to hand. However, you have added some unique spice I normally would not have thought of. I look forward to testing both this version, as well as my own Morophon version against my playgroup in the near future.

I really hope ooze tribal and even scarecrow tribal get some more love at some point.

I love the concept deff look at the entire list of cantrip green cards there’s some really cool and niche interaction there, and if like me you want to make it viable at a higher power don’t be afraid to break from the ooze restrictions on some of the better green staples

Concordant crossroads for $50!?! I guess it really is good to be old and having played for decades. I couldn't afford this hobby otherwise.

Commander Mechanic, Thanks for this great video. I was stumped on how to give an Ooze deck some distinct personality. You gave me a direction to take. Say budget wasn't an issue, are there some cards you would ad in that would make the deck stronger while still staying Ooze tribal themed?

How does tangleroot/experiment one/cloudstone curio go infinite? Experiment one etbs, you get one floating green and then you bounce what? Cloudstone specifies it has to be a different permanent so i think you're missing a combo piece here

An Ooze reduced to one green mana + universal automaton + Cloudstone curio = infinite green mana

Token doubles DO work on Aeve. The spell is copied on the stack...the copies become tokens...says this on the card. Since they enter as tokens, they are doubled.

Restricting this deck to strict Ooze Tribal was a Huge mistake.
