Back in the early eighties, the old International Scout front ends were the same way. Take a turn hard on dry pavement, and the cross bar would bend up and come into contact with the fan. Our dealer always kept spares on hand. My 77 E-150 van had the same linkage setup, and it tended to wander on the road. I tried a steering stabilizer, but with manual steering, it caused more issues than it solved.
No, I didn't Chris. I didn't even know about that and as a matter of fact I'm going to go out and do it right now. I've just been ignoring the lights for a while now since I don't drive it a whole lot. I'll let you know.
I did mine with junk yard sensor.....lol. my 01 had the same, abs and brake light on, so while grabbing some other stuff in the ol yard, got 2 of those to see if it helped. Like Chris said, disconnect the battery for while, then it should go away. The ol dodge should be drivable this weekend🤞.....got new tires to pick up today, it seems to be running better after changing the vap solenoid, so should be test drive time(wife says I shouldn't go far, since the plate is expired. ....ah.....malarkey. ...lol)
Funny, glad to hear about your Dodge. I had been driving this truck with expired plates for 6 months, didn't know it though. Disconnecting the Bats didn't cure it. Could be an ABS module.
@Chuck_House_of_Mopar We drove to Bowling Green for Challengerfest 1 year, and got to talking to some people who live close to us, he was telling us about driving his Chevelle around at Street Rod Nationals in Louisville with expired plates. We had a good laugh about it, and a few hours later, I noticed that the plate on my Charger was expired, and my wife and I pretty much raced each other......er.....I mean drove about 2 hours on an expired plate. Luckily the decal was in the glove box with the new registration....lol
Did you change the driving lights? They look really clear. If so where did you get them? My Ram didn’t come with driving lights but I picked up a set with the moldings at the junkyard. Of course the light lens is really hazed/foggy.
Well, it's still on. The guys told me to disconnect the Bats for a while and it should reset the system. That didn't help. Your buddy Jeff is going to come over with his code reader, it could be an ABS module.
