Loctite 243 is a thread lock, not a sealant, so use Loctite 5910 for sealing instead!🤗

Loved the video, thought you were swapping to tubeless which is what I'm after,l, alas not. In your video the only things I do different vs you is everything gets a drop of LT on the first threads and when I do the brake I loosen the bolts on the brake caliper mounts ever so slightly and give the throttle a blip.... it will center itself perfectly and you have no scratching/rubbing noise from brake, also works if a little off true usually. Also baby powder on your tire tube/inside tire... this will allow the tire to seat easily and less chaffing/friction after install as well if using hard braking down a hill etc. Fantastic video though

Curious about what you are using as your snake, I have to do a stem replacement on my Varla Eagle One and I can't find anyone with a video of that so I am referencing this one to do a DIY replacement. What are you using as a snake to run your cables back through the stem and the battery housing of the scooter? Amazing video btw, I've watched it about 6 times now, and I'm sure this time won't be the last, I have gained a ton of knowledge about my scoot from this upload. Keep up the good work and thanks in advance. P.S. Just put some PMTs on the ride as well, this vid triggered the purchase.

How much space do you have between the rear tire and shock mount? I have a 6.5” hub motor and want to uses a 110/50-6.5” tire..

And the brake hydroline from the wheel can be moved outward And then the holes where the hydraulic oil is poured can be inserted Or you can insert a hydro line through the adapter

Hi, found this super helpful, my son an me are repairing a 10x that was in a crash, lots of bits broken, and most of the bolts are loose or missing but slowly getting there, the front wheel was hit hard an broke the ring. Lucky for is its not the motor side, just waiting for that to come. It has honeycomb solid on it at the moment but not sure to go back to tubes. They are a little worn and a slight flat spot on the rear. I also think on solid that the top speed is lower due to a lower profile type of tyre? Fully charged its only going 27mph but the power wants to pull you off!, we have a little problem with the eco button as it seems to be stuck on as it does not click on and off like the turbo button does, looking at the back there are tiny screws so going to dive in and see what's happening. We are in the UK and now these scooters are a no no and a real shame, my son loves it but its going to be hard to say its a project and cant keep it plus we are not on private land.

Solid tires suck... ensure you are in 3rd gear and dual drive and toggle the eco button on and off while having propped on wooden box and see if noticeable difference

Yeah know what you mean... just bought a vsett10+ police pulled me over whilst doing 30mph lol 😆 but yeah there clamping down now even though there's still idiots around 3 on a scooter etc I generally ride mine because a friend lives 10 miles plus away. Wish they'd sort the law out

they are E-Fire 10x3.0 PMT actual RADIAL TIRES. The guy who makes them started out making RC car tires for his kid and ended up making the best-damned tires in mini bike and model racing in the world. I just got a set in the mail and gonna install them in a day or so when I have time. I can't wait to ride on these things. Pauselli Model Tires is the company name.

do you using 3 Jaw Bearing Puller (is posted on your tools list) to open motor lid as in 5:05 ? isn't is too small for lid opening as on they site noted work space only 75mm? can you link yours?

They're £15 on Amazon bruv. 75mm or 3inch is how much it will pull out, not the size of the clamps.

Salut, am cumparat si eu recent 2 anvelope de la Dakor, 10x3 PMT. Le-am montat pe un Vsett10+. Una dintre anvelope dupa ce am montat-o oscileaza, pare stramba. Am reluat procesul de instalare crezand ca am gresit ceva, dar rezultatul e acelasi. Se poate sa fie din camera? Retur nu cred ca pot sa fac, la Dakor pe site scrie ca se monteaza fara camere, ce parere ai?

Bearing or brake... find if the rim is true by holding something to rim (pencil?) And see if it touches the entire rotation of rim or if warped... likely your bearings aren't flush or are cockeyed

Its cause there is no load on the motors. Free spins at 80km. Standing on the scooter you get around 60km.

am i the only one that cant use tubes on the 10x? the split rim cuts the tubes as soon as i go over 40km. so everyday i get a flat. do i have some issues or what? i have full tires now but they're so bumpy and small and narrow. anyone care to help?

da ruginesc ca nu dunt lacuite bobinele exista un sprai special, se poate vopsi fara probleme cu sprai de temperatura de tobe, fara sa afecteze ceva, nu mai rugineste veci...si magneti la fel...si eu am atelier...etc. Bafta

Salut DrDrei! Dețin o trotineta speedway leger și janta pe roata din fata este făcută din plastic. Am o mare problema ca nu găsesc nicăieri sa înlocuiesc janta. Îmi spui te rog frumos ce sa fac în privința asta dacă exista o soluție sa înlocuiesc roata sau janta cu un alt model sa nu mai fie din plastic. :(( am cautat aceasta problema pe internet și mai nimeni nu reușește sa ii dea de cap. (Roata este de 8,5 inch) Am văzut un model de roata pe evomag la 199 lei de 9 inch de la speedxman dar nu stiu dacă de potrivește:( Dacă nu exista nici o soluție, am sa îmi cumpăr alta trotineta deși nu am pe ea de cât 200km parcurși și deja întâmpin aceasta problema:(( Ajutooor! Detest sa mai merg la munca pe jos :))

Excellent and detailed. Pictures are worth a thousand words, I subscribed. One thing I didn't understand is it said changing the bolts to metal ones @7:37, aren't they metal to begin with or was it changing them to stainless steel ones ? Could you have painted the rotor with some high heat clear paint after you sanded them down, or use nail polish ? Are all the bearing the same on 10X and Dualtron motors ?

Bravo ,felicitari, pacat ca trotineta este atat de elastica ca si suspensie ca este foarte inervanta si la franari si devine ca o barca in balansare, foarte inervante, prefer trotinetele cu suspensie mai rigida sunt mult mai stabile si mai ok, am mers cu asa ceva , e foarte puternica sa spun dar susoensie este inervanta, nu o suport, kugoo g3 pro e peste, ma jur si kugoo g2 pro am 7000 km fara probleme, etc , in rest bafta, e ok, rulmenti se baga la cald , asa se face de mult, se incalzeste carcasa si pica singur, etc bafta.

Eu cu slime original sm 5 gauri si nu am schimbat cauciucu de loc timp de 3500 km acuma am 7000 si schimb al doile pe spate pe fafa are 7 mii original ca nu trage, si cu slime original uiti de pene...etc. eu bag un sfert de tub de 330 ml intro roata., 80 ml e suficient sau 125, la 11 inchi sau 10...

You did not install the simering correctly, because the "lips" must always face the direction of the liquid! So turn it over, because that way it won't block the liquid's path!🤔
