Never thought of Xbox controller is even upgradeable... good work!

How to not waste $150-$180 on a controller but upgrade it for $30 ish dollars

Do you know what kind of kit should I get? Most kits I find online only have the thumbsticks and not the sticks

I had no idea this was possible. I have the thumbstick+dpad kit on the way to me. Looking forward to doing it myself (: I was reading some comments on other videos and reddit/amazon about how the magnet in the left thumbstick affects the left trigger? Is it really an issue? (if it is, could the magnet be potentially removed from the left thumbstick?) - edit: this would mean the stick would still fit but it wouldn't be magnetic

Nice Job!! Love this modification and was thinking of doing this myself with a simple and easy fix instead of getting an elite or a scuff controller. I might be wrong but I feel like you may have installed the D-pad in incorrectly, Which might be the cause of why your D-pad was not snug in your controller. Great job on the video ;).

How are the pieces that limit the triggers doing? And is the material it is the same as stock or does it have a different texture

If your gonna do this I wouldn't recommend buying the full kit I got mine for $30 if I knew the LT button wouldn't work I wouldn't have bought the kit I recommend buying the d-pad separately for around $7 and you can buy sliver thumbsticks for around $3 it would look better and wont have any Interference. For further explanation I installed it yesterday and the d-pad is alright if installed correctly, the real issue is the left thumbstick it interferes with the LT button because it is Magnetic so i decided to remove the left thumbstick and replace it with the original one and now it works fine, would of love to have both elite analog sticks on my controller. But for now I'll stay with only one on the right side and dpad other than that it's fine.

Wouldn’t it be easier to do this on a scuf? Since you aren’t able to buy the dpad custom on controller.

bro those trigger stops are the same exact ones i have you dont feel any rubberized part its just plastic

Where did you get the kit?

This is bogus because after installing this your left trigger button stays locked because the hall sensor is activated by the magnet in the left joystick. Don't waste your money on the stick kit. The d pad kit works fine

This kinds of kit suck. The D-pad does not stay centred because its pin is shorter than the original making the kit unusable. I bought two and lost 45 euros.
