Stock Xbox One Controller Elite Mod Thumb Sticks And D-Pad 

If your gonna do this I wouldn't recommend buying the full kit I got mine for $30 if I knew the LT button wouldn't work I wouldn't have bought the kit I recommend buying the d-pad separately for around $7 and you can buy sliver thumbsticks for around $3 it would look better and wont have any Interference. For further explanation I installed it yesterday and the d-pad is great not loose at all if installed correctly, the real issue is the left thumbstick it interferes with the LT button because it is Magnetic so i decided to remove the left thumbstick and replace it with the original one and now it works fine, would of love to have both elite analog sticks on my controller. But for now I'll stay with only one on the right side and dpad other than that it's fine.

I just did it and I love it I haven't noticed anything wrong with my trigger's both working and I love love the new upgrade iv watched a ton of vids and haven't seen anyone else having probs with there trigger but I got my kit off Amazon for like 21$ and fixing to order another one for my other controller

Thats what i was going to comment.. they are really good for first person shooters... or even third person shooters with cross hair aiming like Ghost Recon Wildlands.. i bought some for my PS4 controller.

michael tuckey your confusing everyone with PS4 controls

This doesn't occur with genuine Microsoft Elite Thumbsticks bases.Cheap metal after market Chinese ones are the cause of this interference.

Is it just the left stick that isnt working?

Anders Zidane I got this kit to replace the thumb sticks for destiny and the disc d pad for killer instinct and samurai shodown and I have to say - I am not impressed with the quality. I’m Mine we’re exactly the same as ETAs and the D pad which was really the main feature for me did not register and was very loose. The green magnet cover was awful and not cut the right way so I said screw it and kept my old one in. The sticks are very loose, more so than the actual elite controller and they are really finicky...sometimes they work fine, sometimes they are drawn towards each other because of the polarity and then there’s the triggers that have a very strange clicky, loose and uneven feel to them. I also bought an FPS Strike Commander in order to make it truly wired and remap the paddles to reload and run and that did work out pretty well. It was a fun project but last week I bought an elite controller despite going through 3 of the pieces of junk already because they are so much easier on my hands. I only have 15% use of my left hand so i experiment with lots of stuff like this to see if I can help get myself up to par with my competiton and feel comfortable gaming. If you have the money it’s totally worth refurbishing your own Xbox Controller to say you did but I don’t recommend it otherwise.

Fortnite28 the metal on the sticks doesn’t wear on the circle surrounding the joystick like the plastic ones do making it a little smoother...you can also change out the joysticks at anytime

RockerRobin I got them and I have that problem. Right now I haven’t found a fix

@@keenanmurrayvlogs4912 you could maybe find some magnetic shielding tape and place it between the trigger sensor and stick. I personally perched the normal aluminum sticks and now both sticks have a strong wonder down. You also have to use thumb grips with them because the aluminum is to slippery on it's own.

Yeah, you gotta make some adjustments. The internal piece is a bit more loose than the regular d-pad plus the metalic parts are a little loose as well. Both are fixable so it's a good deal for the money. Microsoft doesn't sell those parts so if you don't have a broken Elite controller to cannibalize, your only option is buying these Chinese bootleg parts.

Thought the kit we had was cheaper than yours, so were about to buy the exact one you got, until we saw this comment and your reply here. Please advise on what adjustments are needed to make the green piece more snug. Glue or something?

What magnet problem?

If your talking about the side panels just simply get prying tools or spudger and use that to open it up

Congratulation, you modified your $51 Gamepad with two extra augmentations, into a ~$90 pseudo Elite Controller... that lacks 50% of the function, of an actual Elite Controller. Welp, half the money half the function i guess

I had a one s controller...i took the magnets out n it worked fine...but i got sick of the thumbsticks falling out..lol..n..just changed them back to the original ones

@@MiruSubete um idk what's wronge with yours but what's happening withe mine is if I put the joystick forward to move it would trigger the left trigger without me pressing it

@@gaingamer66 yeah my LT button just stop working and it does trigger by itself sometimes, but I just decided to remove the left analog stick and replace it the original one and now it works fine, If you find a solution please let me know would like have both elite analog sticks on my controller.

My son will definitely take them if it is easily removable like that. He's like a kid magician. One moment it's there and in a flash he'll make it disappear into the abyss....

Most people do not wreck their controllers. The problem with the XBone Gamepads is, they are super cheap in quality. Especially the death/failure rate of the XBone Elite Controller, is way too high for its 150 bucks price tag. That is 1/2 the price of the entire console! Its ridiculous! The Elite Controller was also, and still is based on the first XBone Controller Generation. They're a Failure by Design! The plastic Triggers are prone to snap in less than 6 month of normal gaming. Because everything is just cheap plastic crap. Exactly what happened to my cousins Elite. My nephew returned two XBone S gamepads already, because the Anal-Sticks had either huge dead zones or just wobbled, just by waving the gamepad around. Not shaking, just waving. This is unacceptable product quality. The 360 gampad was already as bad as it is. But it was a consistent problem. XBone pads are ridiculously random in their production quality. Do i have to mention, that i have a $10 dual schock knock off, that has a 1K times better DigiPad than the 360 controller? When i play emulation, i use that cheap knock off, because the digipad just works.
