About Me:
I'm Devi, and I help people find rest, recovery and healing through Yin Yoga. My RU-vid channel has over 150 free Yin Yoga videos, and my membership site is where my more in-depth programs happen. My Yin Yoga Teacher Training is an online 30-day immersion for those who are ready to go even deeper.

What an effective practice, thank you Devi. Your more flowing style of yin works really well with my upper body tension. I find that long holds can actually make my shoulders feel more stiff whereas a flowing sequence of stretches releases tension wonderfully. Thank you xx

A fabulous class Devi! I have osteoarthritis in my left shoulder and carry lots of tension in my upper back. This practice brought me so much relief. Once a week I enjoy a class like this just concentrating on this area. Thanks

Thank you so much. I have tried doing the pose in other practices where the shoulder is outstretched behind and we are rolled on our sideand struggled. I could never get my top leg to go behind the other leg and put my foot on the ground like most practices have us do. It seems the key was having that block under my head. No other teachers suggested that. What a difference that made! I couldn't get the leg bent behind me and my foot on the ground on one side, yet, but on the other side I could! That was a major improvement.

Wonderful! As you could probably see I’m also limited in this range of motion. It can also be nice to let that top leg hover and extend it back, rather than worrying about bending the knee and getting the foot on the floor.
