Urbex - Cleveland's Abandoned Hotel - Everyday Something Bad Happened

This is by far the worst abandoned hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. Police responded to over 650 service calls in two years at this location on Brookpark Rd . Federal agents raided the hotel sometime in 2015 I believe. The city had no choice but to shut this place down. The hotel was a danger to the public. Now the building is deserted with everything still inside. Smoke detectors going off for no reason, and most of the rooms remain untouched.

The kitchen made me think of the daily conversations that might've gone on during the hotel's life. The dishes served up with ordered meals, customers returning orders ecte. Thanks for the upload!

That was neat seeing that news clip in the beginning. That hotel had some nice touches like those porthole windows in the indoor pool. Also...it had an indoor and an outdoor pool 😮 it must have been a nice hotel at one time. And UD giving Dan Bell’s ADR a shoutout 😁

It must be in a really bad neighborhood to have all them bad things going on. You should have brought a ultraviolet light to see what was on the beds.

The bathrooms are actually fairly clean for such a place. I'd have expected the ring in the toilet and mold around the showers.

The good old Brookpark strip. They cracked down on the adult and peep shows in late 90s. There’s an even older hotel down the street across from crazy horse that was just as bad

@@underthepale Sorry, I misunderstood. Urbexers keep getting comments from yutzes who say, "You should've taken that, it's worth a lot of money," when the explorers always remind their viewers that they're there to record these places, not loot or vandalize them. Most won't even tell where they found things, so they won't make them susceptible the the lawless and thoughtless. I agree that the employers and employees alike shouldn't let the Good Stuff go to waste! (The stuff IS _portable,_ after all.)

@@oldenweery7510 I don't think anything that's portable should be left behind, but in particular, food and alcohol left behind always upset me. I am (mostly) not in favor of taking objects from these sites, but I also think it's tragic when *perfectly good* objects, especially consumables, go to waste.

Here's another candidate for the Damn Shame File. I stayed in some really nice motels back in the '60s and '70s and had some really good times, especially when I belonged to a sports car club (visited clubs with go-go dancers, strip clubs, some really cool bars and restaurants, got drunk in a sauna next to an indoor pool in one).

Take that Dirty Rooms,the NE.Ohio No~Tell😶motels are right on par with Baltimore's and Detroit.The filthiest,bedbugs crime ridden rooms around.😬A once nice facility ran into the ground with a mess left behind with owners nowhere to be found.A 4AM🌙 exodus outta town.Adult bookstores/peepshows,strip joints,prostitutes,drug dealing,no~tell motels they've been trying to clean up that area for years.🧹👮‍♂️
