Since you have already gotten your spouse to the USA, then the requirement for social media disclosure will not affect you, regardless of you usage of social media.
That may be a problem. It may be hard to believe that one does not use social media, and saying that one does not, may appear suspicious. Best policy is to tell the truth.
How are they going to request passwords too? Isn’t that invading people’s privacy? That’s absurd. Unbelievable. We have rights right Visa Coach? Also Visa Coach, is this just for the applicant or applicant and the petitioner? Thanks in advance.
How? the same way they get user names and media. They just ask, after making a factual answer a required step in order to get the immigration benefit being sought. Right to privacy, and right to immigration benefit are not the same. Currently the foreign beneficiary is the one asked to pony up his social media details.
was rejected for the previous appointment. While filling out the DS 160 form for the next appointment, the previous passport was lost and since it was destroyed in the washing machine, the visa officer may have thought that I threw it in the washing machine on purpose. Can I answer this question just because it was lost? Could it be possible for the next appointment? Does it record? Will there be any problem if we change some things in the second
US immigration understands that sometimes travel documents are lost or stolen or in your case destroyed. You honestly explain circumstances, and of course you will be providing information on your destroyed and current passports.
Hi sir thank you for this video as always 🙂 I'm more than happy to show them our social media history. My question, is this going to take effect for new applicants or it also affects previous applicants? We applied since last year. Thank you!
The DS160 or DS260 if already submitted does not need to be resubmitted. I imagine that the consulate will decide case by case whether to place a case on hold after the interview to ask for social media. As this is a new development, it is unknown exactly what the policy will be for cases already in the pipeline before the modifications to the online forms were implemented.
My fiance had her interview on June 13 and was denied under 221g ... They interviewed both of us and the consular officer said that we were not a real couple... We are in a real relationship and this is devastating....
Sorry to hear that. In such a case the way to proceed is to view this as merely a single lost battle within the context of a war, a temporary setback. One regroups, reassesses and reapplys. This time incoporating what was learned to make your case stronger, more presentable, more believable. And if your case was a Do It yourself one, you realize what your limitations are, and this time engage professional help like mine. Good luck.
What role does consular processing play in the CR1 visa ? When you file the I130 form , do yoi give the original marriage ceritifiate ? Or a copy ? Isn the ceritifcate needed at the interview ?
An interview is conducted at the consulate. The officer there has ultimate authority to approve or deny your visa. If you need advice on what documents to provide or how to apply send your request to info@visacoach.com and I will provide a menu of services and prices for the help I offer for DIY cases.
Hello visa coach I have interview since October 3 and the consul ask me to come with my results and also my passport then I have submitted my school results in the US embassy in Sierra Leone but the person that take the results he didn't ask for my passport he only say I should go
My fiance is not using facebook, and I never expose my personal our relationship in social media because we want our life keep private between just 2 of us. How this new rules affect on us in the near feature?
Hello Mr Fred I just receive letter from nvc that my IV case becoming documentarily qualified. then nvc says that they are working with the embassy to schedule an interview appointment for me. I have problem to read visa bulletin wich my priority date is 03.july.2018 . thanks for help. all your videos are always helpful from my first IV stap up to now
Thank you very much for the helpful information visa coach. My question is, what is you're still on administrative processing How is it gonna affect you?
Administrative processing is slow and tedious, it affects you because your life is on hold and you have no idea when you can move on to the next level.
@@Visacoach I went for my interview February 12 and they took all other documents from me beside my passport. Was told they want to do some background investigation.
What if the passports and medical is at the US embassy since June 2018 after the interview as the vis officer asked to provide social media and other details as you have already mentioned. However, it is still in administrative processing. Can you please guide me that how much time this will take further?
If you provide incomplete or false information, yes it might affect your application. When dealing with US immigration, honest, factual and complete answers are best practice.
When working with my clients, I give them guidance and a detailed list of the kind and number of evidences that I want them to give me, in order that I can choose the best way to tell their story. Only AFTER I have reviewed what they send me can I judge "will it be enough evidence?". If I believe they can do a better job, then I reach out to them with suggestions how to improve their evidences.
@@Visacoach Thank you! We're planning to apply for a CR1 visa, we're just waiting for our authenticated copy of our Marriage Certificate to arrived. We will contact you soon. God bless!
Yes, the marriage certificate is required, and must be a part of your application. However in putting together a successful application there is a lot of additional work to be done than just getting a single piece of paper. Most efficient is that we start on your case immediately and get ALL the other logistics out of the way at the same time your marriage certificate is in process. That way we will be ready to submit once it arrives. This brings your spouse to the USA much sooner than to wait for the document, and THEN start to do the other required actions. Anyway whenever you are ready, I am ready too.
@@Visacoach so they are all the same but we didn't add his emails on the ds160 but we added them on the ds5535, and his accounts from the old social media are closed, so will they look at his old accounts too? On the interview in Tunisia Je had June 20th and they said all was good and he could pick up his passport next week , they gave him a pink slip, but them we had to fill out ds5535 form and it's through administrative processing, idk how long this should take, but my main concern is because he didn't list his emails on ds160 but we listed them on ds5535
@@Visacoach , thanks so much for all your help, I just have one last question, so when my fiance had his interview on June 20th, and they said all was good and he could pick up his passport next week, do you know why he got this extra form ds5535 3 days later after they said everything was good? Could it have been something with his paperwork?
My mom and I are planning to visit USA in summer.Together we have visited more than 5 countries.I am a medical student and my mom is housewife. My uncle(mom’s father) also have visited USA but didn’t stay there for long as he had business here. My mom was varsity professor at history dept. She also have little businesses and a whole house of 10 storied which she rented.I was also received several certificates under Stem from USA ambassy in our country.I have so many relatives live in USA. One of them already provided his location, email address and any type of help he can do for us. So how can I present my profile in front of them and what else should I do?
She can tell the full story, and where available provide evidence that she has extensive ties to home country and would never, ever leave it permanently.
My service is devoted to helping couples apply for their fiance and spouse visas. For detailed advice on tourist visas, I suggest you speak with a local travel agent.
I was refused B2 and f1 visas 2014 and 2015. On my f1 visa i used my uncle name as my father. Reason he was the sponsored. Now i'm going for cr1 interview next month, it this a red flag for me? Do i have to tell them before the interview or when they ask? Although we have a child together.
I filled I-130 form to petition my married brother in 2015. My mom recently became US Citizen on 2019 and want to take over my petition (which been 4 years already) with hope shorten down the waiting time. The reason we think about that because I heard F3 petition should take slight faster than F4 (10 yrs vs. 12-13 yrs). But I am not sure if my theory could apply to this case (taking over / transfer someone's petition from F4 to F3)
Will my case be seen in a more negative light if I use little to no social media sites? Me and my fiance keep our social media usage very minimal, and it would be awful to be penalized for not being apart of these sites.
You are not required to use social media. However claiming that you do not use social media, when in fact you do, might cause problems. If on ANY level reviewers feel you have not been totally honest, your case could be denied.
We start the process at November 2018 my wife 3 days ago she just receive new pepper they ask her to send pictures of me and they make sure if everything we send was right help me coach if we are in new step in the process or no
Hello Visa coach was wondering if anyone had any problems uploading their documents to nvc, I'm unable to login it says application error, anyone else encountered that ?
Getting through the NVC's new system that requires upload of documents and evidences is a nightmare. I have encountered problems ranging from minor to significant on ALL recent cases. I hope they eventually iron out the bugs.
Hi .... I am filling ds 160 for USA. In family information page.. It is asked to provide my father and mother name and date of birth but my parents have only given names but no surname so what should I fill in surname and given name options plz tell asap
I don't recommend you attempt a DIY case as novices run the risk of too many mistakes. However for those who want to try that anyway, I do offer some services to help them. Send your request to info@visacoach.com and ask for "Menu of Services for DIY Fiance Visa case" and I will reply with details and pricing on how I can help.
On cr1 visa nvc accepted our documents n they said they will work on bombay embassy for ur interview date ,, but 40 days gone still not get any email or letter from nvc for interviw , how much tim will take nvc for interview
Of course you have plans, you just don't have exact dates. And should you need 9 months to plan your wedding, you could delay your fiance's travel for 6 months, to travel just before the visa expires, and they you would have another 3 months before needing to get married. Thats plenty of time to plan in anyones book,
Good evening, thanks for your valuable information. My question is if a fiancé comes in on a 90 day fiancé visa . Can they return home and comes back to the US during that 90 day window , if in that second trip they marry.
The fiance visa is for a SINGLE entry. If you leave before the wedding you have to apply for another fiance visa in order to return. If you leave after the wedding but before approved for advance parole or permanent residency, you have to apply for a spouse visa in order to return. For details on the 90 day rule www.visacoach.com/90-day-fiancee-rule.html
Congrats on a good interview. AP may take days, weeks, months, even years. Now your course of action is to be as patient as you can be while awaiting final results.
Visa Coach should i have to worry about it sis ? Because were approved but until now my visa was Immigrant Administrative Processing but some of my friends who approved the same day they are visa on hand now, do we have to worry about it sir ?? Please i need your help
Thanks for the Visa requirements update, I I'd share your videos with my fiance so that he can be up to date and to get in touch with you. Me and my fiance are both private individuals, he has a Facebook account but has not been active for the past 5 or 7yrs, we don't like being in public and thus i dont post things related to our private and personal life on my Facebook page. We spend lots of our time chatting on our WhatsApp page. Please would this have a negative effect on our Visa application since we are getting married in a few months time? Can you please suggest the best approach to take for us in this instance. Thank you
Yeah because it so uneasy just reapply no big deal as everybody has thousands dollars sitting around who cares if you have to live in 2 separate countries even longer even though you have been married over 2 years now.
Then lets hope your DIY case has touched all the right bases and the consular interview will be successful and the visa approved the first time you apply.
Hello sir, I got married with my wife who’s American citizen in Nigeria, on April 26th 2019 we met on Facebook and now my Facebook have been disabled, blocked and she’s about to file for my coming because she wants us together, but the age gap is more, she have been to Nigeria twice, please will that be a problem for me ? What should I do and what should she do for us to be together?
Are you asking if the closing of your face book account may be a problem? Perhaps it will be. US immigration only recently began examining social media for all cases, it is too soon to tell how that will play out, how that will affect approvals, or cause denials. Significant age differences, and being from the land of 419 scammers, will also be red flags that will effect your case. The stronger your evidences of bona fides, the better chance you may have to overcome the problems.
I have Facebook and instagram but my fiancé does not use ever since. He wants a private life so we are just communicating through WhatsApp.Is that also a big problem ?
Hii sir it's been 17 months I didn't hear anything about my case they just transfer my Husband case but didn't approve yet I'm so upset about it thank you
When asked to disclose your past 5 years of social media use, you answer the questions factually and fully. So if the account was deleted over 5 years ago, you don't disclose it. If used anytime within the past 5, you should.
My girl friend is a christian in usa but i am Muslim in Bangladesh. We are different religions. Can i get k1 visa?.???? please tell me between two different religions for the k1 visa?????
A successful Fiance or Spouse visa application requires convincing a consular officer that the underlying relationship is bona fide. When I work with my clients and they have "red flags" that lead the consular officer to be more suspicious than normal, I spend time with the couple to get to know their situation, their full story, and help them submit evidences, that overcome the suspicions caused by "red flags". This is a complicated process, it is more "Art" then "Science". You should ask your fiance to reach out to me for help in preparing and guiding the two of you through your case's progress. She can reach me at 1-800-806-3210 or www.visacoach.com/talk.html
Living together can be a sign that the couple is bona fide. CR1 visa is for your spouse. So living together is not enough, marrying and living together is pretty strong help for your case..
My wife and I don't have our original Facebook Messenger accounts. We do have public Facebook and Instagram and we have posted and uploaded pictures from the last 5 trips I took starting in January 2017. My petition was approved and we have submitted all the documents to NVC for review. I said an affidavit with my original petition and included our Facebook profile pages and our Instagram account for viewing as extra proof of marriage. However it was not a requirement at that time. Is this going to cause me delay?
What if we don’t communicate with each other through the social media? If we only use Viber to talk only, this could be problem in future? Please answer my question
You are not required to use social media. However claiming that you do not use social media, when in fact you do, might cause problems. If on ANY level reviewers feel you have not been totally honest, your case could be denied.
