Well, that's not quite fair. I disagreed with the limits, but I can see the reasoning from the perspective of someone not in Ukraine. But, over the couple years of war, so many "red lines" have been crossed with a nonreaction that listening to Russia's "red lines" makes no sense unless it's something that does legitimately threaten the state of Russia itself. "Don't take swaths of internationally recognizes Russian territory" makes sense, as it does prevent a potentially legitimate threat to the Russian state. Using western weapons in Russian territory doesn't.

Just a note, if war broke out with Russia, that would pretty much eliminate all pro-Russian efforts of subversion in the EU and US governments and political parties. Russia does NOT want a war with NATO, then they'd be the enemy and anyone in contact with them will immediately would become stigmatized and ostracized in politics. They'd lose a good chunk of their trade partners and a whole lot of other things. They would be boned. They will only attack NATO if they are either sure that NATO is no linger functional or when they have no other recourse.
