This works fine.. until you fully close your hand and accidentally press every single key bind on the planet. I took like 50 screenshots and opened every menu possible 😂
@@luckydog947 Each finger is set to a key bind, so two fingers together open a menu etc. So when you close your hand it presses every button possible! Takes screenshots and opens all the menus haha
I just looked up quest finger tracking vrchat. I actually was trying to know about the oculus quest finger tracking, but I wanted to also see vrchat. since I have it on my pc.
I fully admit I found this video while searching for "how to flip the bird in Skyrim VR". Unfortunately I have no idea whether this works in Skyrim VR or not, and the movement seems like it would be troublesome.
I bought a quest 2 about 2 days ago and I was wondering yesterday "uh, ¿I can use handtracking of the quest in vrchat?" and nobody touch the topic. And then today i see this. Nice
I bought a Quest 2 yesterday and It's coming next week. I'll use it only for PCVR via Virtual Desktop, gettinga 5 GHz router installed in my room TODAY. I'm so excited.
If there was the option to use the touch controllers as input for buttons while not using them for tracking that'd be great or using joycons I feel that could work well
Yo Mysticle, I think you are the man bro !!! you are the only guy talking deep into the quest 2 capacities and easy explained, we all can to reproduce it because of you thanks god... The others VR RU-vidrs they never going deep like this ^^ You really deserve more subscriters !! keep on it man ;) PS: (sorry for my english i'm french)
Joked with a buddy in VR that we could do all of this and for cheap movement try a DDR mat if playspace is "limited" . Wonder if anyone's tried that yet haha.
Bro!!!!!!! Thank you mysticle I didn't know you could do that with the quest! I just ordered my Oculus quest 2 yesterday so this is really hype for me! Appreciate you alot my dude I hope your channel grows keep up the good work!👊
Same here 🤣I went half and half with a good roommate to buy one. The sales for VR related things are going to be off the charts thanks to Corona. Hopefully this will fuel the industry so even better things come out soon! I am really looking forward to it! Plus all of the people at home now have nothing to do, so we can work on bettering virtual technology together. Even though the vaccine just came out, it won't be until the middle of 2021 that most people will get the vaccine and start going out like normal again, so that is a lot of time for the virtual industry to take off.
This works perfect in games like Job Simulator were you just need to stand or sit in a single spot I just wish that they would allow you to use hand tracking while using the touch controllers for imput
Hey @TheMysticle ! Sorry I haven’t been able to watch the vids I’ve been super busy, just know I’m still here! (Gonna try to get some merch for Xmas) Thanks for the vid!
I know you commented this a month ago but just in case you are still looking I found this from VR cover us.vrcover.com/products/silicone-cover-for-oculus%e2%84%a2-quest-2 it’s not a new facial interface but it is a protective barrier to stop sweat from soaking the stock fabric and foam, hope this helps you
Fine! I subbed this was just too helpful you won me over, saved to reference for tutorial later. Question: Once everything is setup will u have to use PC everytime to utilize tracking?? And in event I wanna use controllers can I just turn hand tracking off on Quest 2 settings? Also can i use my Quest 2 controllers as Trackers for my feet?? Thank you Family! 13
Here's a strange idea, but could I strap a switch joycon to each of my hands rather than using an xbox controller? The hand tracking may still work with them attached
i need help, when i do it it shows the steam controllers and it shows my hands but it doesnt show my fingers individually moving, it just shows the hands being still. yes i am using the hand tracking feature and not controllers, and yes i have my thing set to emulate valve index tracking
I am watching this video a few months later from the post date, so should I find this exact update or download the latest update if there is because it looks like there may be one.
Do you think you could make a tutorial on how to transfer data between quest 1 and quest 2? I’m getting a quest 2 soon and I don’t want to have to reset my progress in saints and sinners
How to interact with menus? I'd love to have hand tracking for one hand, and a controller in the other... Or set controllers down on the the fly for momentary hand tracking without leaving game
I just got my valve index recently, won’t be able to play with it until a couple more weeks but I wanna try making a heart shape with my fingers on vr chat I wonder if it works xD
this did not work for me for some reason. downloaded the apk and driver but the ingame was laggy and i thought i should get the new drivers ect. now both wont even run
Is there any way to sign in on pc VRchat and the account you have on PC will sign in into quest like my username for some reason does this weird thing where it changes where the stuff goes and makes symbols like * go in the middle of my letters instead of where it should be
I only get like gloves when it gets into steam not the controllers and I cannot seem to be able to control things correctly. Do I have to remove the virtual desktop driver maybe?
I just bought a Quest 1 headset without controllers for super cheap online, for use as a racing sim headset and some Vorpx games. But this vid has got me thinking; Will hand tracking work properly with PCVR games? Is Virtual Desktop worth spending money, if ALVR is so good?
