Same here sis! TxA is fairly new, but it works great for NEW dark spots tbh. Vitamin C is still my go to for fading those spots with AzA and Alpha Arbutin!
James: describing that new vitamin C serum... Me: ooh, that sounds like some good shit. Responsible me: let's finish one of the 5 vit c serums you already have, then we'll talk...
After years of out of control cystic acne, I’m finally seeing the light and now it’s time to explore options to cure the scars and hyperpigmentation it left behind. I’ve been using affordable options from the ordinary and melano, but I also find that they feel so greasy ! And that’s coming from a person whose skin loves Vaseline and aquaphor all over! Thank you for your recommendation. I think my next purchase will be an investment into that serum! ❤️
Hi sabrina, I had cystic acne for yeas. And that leaves pigmentation and aggressive spots. Could you please tell me what did you use for fade away these. 😭😭
My #1 skin issue is rosacea, and usually every derm recommends Cetaphil. Cetaphil makes my skin dry and tight though so I said hey, maybe I’ll give skincare a try again! After years of just giving up. I tried the Etude House whip cleanser and was very pleased. No dryness and no increased irritation to my rosacea, which is a miracle. Also at your recommendation I use great barrier relief to follow cleansing. Very happy and have bought again. I also added other Krave products, Kale-aluAHA and the matcha hemp cleanser. Very pleased with both and cannot decide which cleanser I like better between matcha and the Etude house. I use La Roche Posay liquid sunscreen on my face and am happy with it, although some derms say I should avoid some of the chemicals in it. However it is EXTREMELY hard to find sunscreens that don’t break me out. I feel that dermatologists don’t ever REALLY understand rosacea. They say they do, and they probably do on a research level, but they never quite get how bad and difficult it is to manage. So thank you for actual GOOD recommendations.
Thank you for making this video 💕 I have OCD and one of my symptoms is I pick my skin and I’m always so grateful for recommendations to help the leftover marks!!
The yuja niacin line from some by mi is a great one it helped my mom getting red of her melasma and it was real noticeable ( she also used the ordinary AHA BHA peeling solution one a week at the same time )
I'm so happy you talked about the Yuja serum.. It's been an holy grail for me since I tried it , my skin texture has definitely improved and overall it looks more even and brighter. I also really love the moisturizer from the same line, it feels like you're applying water on your skin.
Hello, I'm interessted in the product can you tell me more about it: for how long you been using it, when did you start seeing result, does the serum have a strong smell, how is the consistensy ? I try to avoid perfume in my skincare but if the product can help with the hyperpigmentation and pimple scars left on my skin I will probably try it
@@phisiana2532 Hi 😊 I've been using this serum since november 2020, since I was dealing with some dark spots from past breakouts and skin texture. I've started seeing results after a month, a bottle seems to last at least 3 months which is great (it contains 50 ml of products). It has a citrusy scent, it doesn't seem to have syntethic fragrance in it, but it contains essential oils, so watch out for that if you're sensitive. If you want to hear more about it I suggest reading other reviews on Yesstyle! I hope I helped you a bit ☺️
I went to buy this (peach & lily transparen-c pro spot treatment) I have a couple of high pigment areas but $30 shipping to the UK isn't something I would pay 🙄
Thank you for this 😩 I feel like every video on this topic is everything Niacinamide which I’m allergic to, so I’m glad to see some options without it 💜
On another note, you've helped with my rosacea, and help me find the best routine for MY skin.. My skin thanks you James. 💜💜💜 Xx ..I always trust your judgement on brands and ingredients.☺️
Hiii! PSA : I used the Peach and Lily based of James’ recs based off this video. Its amaaazing. I don’t understand what magic this is - I also have prescription strength hydroquinone and the peach & lily works faster. It’s been a week and the results are wild - 💯 would recommend.
I have been searching my whole life for something that works on my dark spots from acne scarring. Fingers crossed the peach and lily does me some good !
please can you make a video about which sunscreens have been independently tested and are safe to use? and which haves been shady / not disclosed the full info, especially since the scandal. please include missha bcos theyre my favs
After breaking out from steroid cream usage ,i started using this yuja niacin serum and sleeping mask and it works really well for me,overall my dark spots have faded to 80% and helps with my acne too..my skin looks healthy and glowing ☺️☺️
If this wasn’t sponsored, I’d buy that. But it’s a little too expensive and we just never know with sponsorships. I’m all here for James getting some money through sponsorships! Super happy for him. I just so rarely buy products that are sponsored in videos. 🤷🏻♀️
You should do a video talking about the brand Ponds, and going over their specific products talking about the ingredients and if they work or not! I see this brand hyped up so much and just bought my first product from them.
I get really bad dark spots when I get pimples, but Hero Cosmetics Lightning Wand and various brands' (Hero, Peach Slices, and Zitsticka) fading microdart patches have really helpe them fade much lighter after just 2-3 weeks
Ooh good to know about the some by mi yuja niacin serum! I bought it and coincidentally gave it to my brother for his oily scarred skin. 😅 Sounds like it will work great for him 😂 Nice!
The C-Spot treatment is pricy but the 15% off made it bearable, either way ended up buying that and the Serum which I was surprised how cheap that was. Thanks again for the recommendations!. can’t wait to try it out.
Hi James I've been binge watching your videos and have been learning soooo much And I would just like to say thank you because thanks to you I have changed my skin care products and my routine and my skin has never felt so good As I now know what my skin needs and what is best for it and that's all down to you Thank you 😄🤘 Keep being cool and stay happy, healthy and safe ✌️
If you want a really good brightening ingredient look for Australian Kakadu Plum - extremely high in Vit C and antioxidants. Theres a new product called Bounce by Goodieco and its combined with Bakuchiol (the botanical retinol) Waiting for it to release!
What is going on with your hair? !!! It's GORGEOUS! You look super sophisticated - even when giggling. I went back a couple of videos to see if you changed it and I can't tell... No need for you to tell either. Just know you look amazing!
Hi James! Great reminder on applying sunscreen to prevent hyperpigmentation. I’ve been struggling with stubborn dark spots for the longest time!! I finally found RE:ERTH. Been using their spot lightening serum for some weeks now and I’m so amazed that my spots have lightened!
I was kind of influenced by your reviews about Some by me and took/ tested this brand cautiously, although is pretty well rated in your ranking videos. Buuuut.... i can't help it, I really love their lines. I love, love their Miracle soap bar, cleanser, toner and serum from the green line, they are all amazing. Really love the V10 cream and Vitamin C soap as well and even the Snail red line or the Tea tree are not bad. And I kind of appreciate the way they name their products (I remember everybody complaining about SbM brand for being too arrogant with their marketing names like 30 days miracle)- It's easier for me to browse and identify through the myriad of products of a certain brand and quicker understand their benefits. I need to test more this Niacin line, I do have the mask but don't really put my hand on it.
@@goodiegoodygumdrops yes- and it’s pretty good. So it worked on the acne spots that were not as dark (as in I hadn’t scratched at them) and I saw a difference in about 3 days with those. The mark that is there from the pimple I accidentally scratched is still there- there are no changes on that . Tbh I think I’m going to have to get a laser treatment to get rid of it which blows
I love your vids for the information but also because they stop my toddler having tantrums - she thinks the mimikyu is a pikachu and immediately chills. XD
oof, I don't usually spend so much on just one skin care product, but you had me sold with those results on the Peach and Lily serum. I'm both excited to try it and hate myself for spending so much lol. I'm more of an Inkey List price kinda gal.
It is well worth it, I am an Esthetician and struggle with acne scarring and pigmentation from my teen years in the sun. Truly nothing has had an affect on them in a matter of weeks like anything else I've done over the course of years. 1 drop is enough to spot treat like 4 things. I am to the point where I use it all over at night (with no irritation, my redness has actually gone down as well) and I wake up with a sweet angel baby face!
Hi James! Where can we buy the Peach and Lily vitamin C serum here in UK?? I really want to buy it but it’s super expensive shipped from US. Thanks and great video! Xx
Bumping the comment! I’ve had Peach & Lily stuff shipped from the US once but I would rather buy it from a UK retailer because it is pricey!! Maybe if James reviews more of their products they will get more interest from the UK and seriously look into working with UK retailers 🤞
Absolutely perfect timing. I’m almost finished with the Vitamin C product that I haven’t been impressed with - “it’s fine”, but kinda meh. Ordered right after the video. Who am I today? I never do that.
@@goodiegoodygumdrops it is working, but not as quickly as it seemed to for James. It is the first time I’ve seen any difference at all, in some of my larger and darker spots. “There’s no such thing as perfection, only progression.”
JAMES! I started using REVOLUTION's Retinol Overnight cream and it didn't irritate my skin at all. Dried out my spots, evened my skin and hyper-pigmentation!! I started sealing it with the Simple moisturizer but sometimes I don't even need it. Have used it less than a week and the results made me happier than anything I have ever tried... and if tried A LOT of stuff!
I’ve been researching dark spot treatments recently, perfect timing. I was considering Peach & Lily’s dark spot microdarts but might go with the serum instead
I have tried all three of P&L's acne patches. I did not like the micro dart ones. They did nothing for the pigmentation, they both were a little over drying, they slipped out of place easily. The only plus was that if you had something forming under the skin it slightly helped. That patch was for the deep acne though. But. But! My absolute favorite pimple patch is P&L's regular acne patch. They are the best! And they do help with redness but not hyperpigmentation.
Over the last five years I’ve tried dozens of Vit C serums. I’ve found an amazing one on Soko Glam... K beauty website. It’s from the line Good (skin) Days, which is an entire line of Vit C products. They are very reasonably priced and pleasant to use. Also, very gentle! That being said, I just ordered the peach & lily Vit C serum! I love their products!! Thanks so much for the recommendation💜
For freckles and sun spot, know that these formula won’t help that much. It will just even out the tone. First know everyone of us have diff skin tone so what works for him may not for us so know your skin. Have patient💜
' It helped me with this and with that - nose- and might help me wit this as well- James pointing at his forehead. He is a classic. Everything he likes I want to buy. Please stop me xxx 😍😘
