For me the biggest mindset change came after reading the book 25 Money Secrets From Donald Trump, since reading it the only thing I think about is money

I loveeeeeeee spending money on books. And there's never guilt associated with it! ♥ I would love to buy books for everyone in my life, in my community, and for schools and libraries in my city. 📚

My parents always said "we can't afford it" - still fighting to this day to feel good about money. It's a core belief that is so damaging.

He is so right, I finally have a savings at age 54 and I still feel broke. My husband always says if I had a million I would still feel I didn’t have enough. I am always so scared to be broke and have to depend on my kids, family or be homeless

my parents talked about money, but it was not a conversation about the details and the detailed terminology that is used such as credit score, taxes and FICO. My parents are also baby boomers, so their knowledge on finances is outdated for today. It was more of a fear-based philosophy around money, “Don’t be a writer”, you can’t put food on the table”, “become a doctor”, “we can’t afford that”, “that’s too expensive”. My money dial is learning, painting, stationery, books, education, and self-development.

This was good!! Making money fun is so imperative because it is os often associated with restriction, limitations and all these other "negative" words. I talk about money on my channel and I always preface with the fact that it is a tool. It's not meant to be a restriction. The goal is to use it to support the things that matter to you, while ensuring your livelihood is maintained.

I would rather spend money on volunteer time and supplies for small non-profit causes. Saving animals and the environment. Doing things for other people.

Money in the bank???????? I NEVER had that when my kids were little! An ex husband who owed us $65,000, me trying to take his butt to court constantly to get it, while trying to work full time and take care of my kids, trying to scramble just to get enough money for food and keep the lights on??? There was NO WAY to plan or build or dream while I was in that situation. I had dreams, still do, BIG ones - I just don't get the correlation between that & your video. 😢
