Would you consider doing a video on how you break even using Etsy ads with the 50% discount code? My product is pillows so I imagine it depends on the product, but a tutorial on it would definitely help. Thanks!

The 50% example I did was for my mock-up shop. I would recommend using the Etsy Calculator in EverBee because it will let you add in a Sale % and you can try different numbers to see what would work best for you to maintain a profit still😊

Taylor, if we create a 50% off coupon for subscribing, can the customer use it more than once? If so, wouldn't that backfire on you if all your customers are coming back and buying items that essentially are loss leaders? I'm kind of confused about this whole thing because I'm not sure I understand how the coupon codes work.

When the customer uses the code at check out is their anything you have to do to the price manually or does it automatically Discount the item

No it automatically applies the discount when the customer uses the code. :)

Thank you! You can not buy blanks from Printify but you can buy blanks through wholesale suppliers or even Amazon 😊

Did you add the Share and Save somewhere. I may have missed it? Also, if I were to get banned from Etsy, would Everbee email transfer to Shopify or Amazon? Thanks for this very important video.

The links to your products are now share and save inks - EverBee updated them automatically 😊 nothing you need to do! And EverBee email wouldn’t necessarily transfer to Shopify for Amazon but you own your email list - so you can utilize that contact information you’ve collected and bring it to those platforms 😊

How do you set it up so customers can’t use the same email coupon over and over?

You would have to change the coupon out every so often. Repeat purchases are a fantastic thing in a shop though. When you have repeat customers, it only boosts your listings search ranking more - so I wouldn’t want to prevent someone from purchasing again from me.

Oh I would love repeat purchases! I just don’t have a profit margin to support consistent use of a large opt-in code. Need to get a handle on pricing structure with Etsy ads/daily sales/abandoned cart/opt-in code, etc. Pricing is tricky.

To my knowledge, yes. Etsy has removed aweber as a recommended integration. All 3rd party platforms will not have access to email information at all after February 5th.

Would this be a one-time coupon code or if they subscribe and unsubscribe(after getting code) do they get to use the 50% off again if they resubscribe??

The coupon could be reused. Unless you decided to periodically change the coupon code and update the email. I don’t worry about it too much, if someone wants to keep reusing my code it’s because they want to keep purchasing items which I’ll never be mad at 💁‍♀️

Yikes. I’d lose money with that kind of discount every time. I run a consistent 25% off sale. I’m a new-ish shop so trying to gain traction… but I couldn’t even offer 40% off of every order.

This was just an example for my mockup shop, which are digital products so it’s still a profit for me if someone uses 50% off. You can do any discount you want. I just recommend it being higher then what you typically offer in your shop while not losing your own profit margin.

Hmm I don’t know about that. Etsy does already automate the same types of ‘order campaign’ emails but I’m not quite sure they would create an email list software. That would be cool though!
