Pyro has 90% damage resist to guns. Play ability damage hero like viessa. She nukes him

Worst part about this boss is honestly the flamethrower. Its not the damage, it's the hyper aggressive tracking and the insane range. There's no realistic way to get away from it unless you're already far enough away from him

They either have to reduce the health , remove his weapon damage resistance or takeaway the damn time limit .

This boss design is what I hate and I was hoping this game won't come to this. I hate boss design that the solution is just "face tank it". Why did you make all the fancy dodge and grappling hook mechanics but also throw them all out of the window? Why??? That fireball should be dodgeable, that's the problem of this boss.

I cant say how many times my group has been within a few shots of beating him and the fucking time limit hits 0, the time limit is fkn annoying (mainly on this boss specifically) plus the fact we cant progress in the story without beating him is another huge negative😒 i might just suck at the gane to, who knows lmao

Thanks for showing the guide/tips playing in a squad. I really don’t like other videos that just say do it SOLO. I and many others don’t like playing games like this solo even if it’s more difficult with the health scaling.

Me and my friend have tried to kill the boss for 20+ times now and the only problem we have is the fire ball shooting fire balls. Remove that or reduce the damage of those balls and it's all good.

I beat it with a yujin, gley, viessa, and Freyna. It was tough took us about 4 trys. All running 65 weapons and having only characters mods leveled up and no weapon mods leveled up I would say having a Ajax instead of viessa would be better but wasn't a mandatory thing. Just keep trying to those who haven't done it.

Honestly? F*ck this boss, way too resistant, way too much shield, way too damaging, yes he’s level 66 but for the love of god dude, and screw the time limit too for that matter.

This boss is driving me nuts specially if you're doing bunny exclusive challenges because soon it's going to tell you to beat that with bunny 😅

The problem with recommending avoiding bunny is you have a bunny specific mission for her. So it’s either go in as bunny, ironically is my tankiest Dez yet, or I go in with some other Dez and just get my ass handed to me over and over anyways like I have for the last 7 hours. Yes, I’m still on this asshole 7 hours of virtually nonstop attempts….just to go back and do him AGAIN just for her mission.

I feel this is the real boss to test what people know about resistance and weakness

Great video I beat mine today by joining a team that was full Freyna (including myself),the tamer lmg works wonders and the constant stacking of Toxic did major work on his health, her third helps with hummingbirds if you are not focusing on them.

Beat him today. I had to switch to vessa. It was my vessa another vessa, ajax and freya. It went down surprisingly fast

Just soloed him with Gley. Finally just stacked what they recommended for fire resist, used tamper and the organ launcher, with a cold bullet mod. And essentially facetanked him. The benefit of solo, is you know you have 3 lives. So if you can knock down his shield in one life, it gives you two more to finish him

my tip if u got kyel u can rocket jump & take out his healing drones just try to hit im in the head might wanna up your AOE to a bit just to be sure

Tried it with viessa, used thunder cage and have the most health, def and element resist and am still dying so quick because I need to get too close with viessa’s abilities and even if I’m running around between cover that tracking ball just does so much damage I’m quite literally out of options and basically just can’t progress anymore, and idk if you can get a high level player to carry you

Spec'd Freya into ability damage once I learned about the 90% gun damage immunity. That really needs to be on the data sheet somewhere. Got him after a few times after that. Did need a party to pull agro occasionally, but I got his HP down to 1/3rd a couple times solo.

is it worth using freynas ultimate mod that gives her armor ability to her teammates in a radius around her if im using her only for bosses with randos? not sure if i should focus resources on upgrading it so it takes less space or if i should ditch it altogether for more dps and survivability modules

Hey everyone i just beat him as bunny while solo with thundercage as my main weapon with about a minute and a half to spare. Heres my build Sub Mod - 9 Heat Anti - 7 Stim Acc - 6 HP - 5 Regen Boost - 6 DEF - 6 Tech - 6 Strong Ment - 5 Skill Insight - 5 Yes, this build does require an energy activator, so this is for bunny mains like myself. All my componets are spect for def Thundercage (max proficiency, no energy activator) Fire rate - 4, Action Reaction - 5, Rifle Rein - 3, Better Insight - 3, Chill Enchan - 4 The way to play this build is to kill ads (yes humming birds too) immediately or as many as you can. Need those health/energy pickups to be around when you need them. Dps with thundercage and build up max charge with your movement and your two. Once you hit max, use your four. This will be your main source of dmg. Thundercage will just be padding till you can use your 4 again. Hug cover and play semi far. If he is using flamerthrower, run don't fight. If deathball is thrown, run past it or hide behind cover (left side has these stairs that go down into the water but has enough map terrain (not destructable cover) to hide behind. If he frenzies, use this time to clear ads or wait for him to attack and flank behind to shoot his weakspot. Usually his attacks in this phase lock him in place for a time. Rinse and repeat your thundercage and four till victory. It will still be difficult and requires you to be aware, moving, and using cover. Hope this helps and good luck!

I spent 1h tuning my weapon to 110K DPS, it doesnt matter in pub squad and I will not play coop looter shooter game solo, its a bad design, you cant finish even story with these dps checks, game over for me...

I keep getting the worst combination, bunnies on console. It has given me two to three bunnies almost every single match. I have no idea why people would play Bunny in a void intercept anyway. I've had this boss very close but half the battle is resurrecting bunnies

I just reached this part of the game with my ultimate bunny. Only to find out shock and bunny is not the play. I wanted to progress and get the map cleared on bunny first so how do I continue to progress now? I did the last boss solo first try because my teammates weren’t cutting it.

What i am doing is beating him with Ajax, then going ahead in story to get stronger weapons, then coming back to help bunny players with quest line. Bunny players, you are not the problem.

Of all the bastards, it has been impossible for me to beat him. The only way I can beat him is if I get into a group with the highest weapon level.

I believe the void intercept battles are going to kill this game since its tied directly to the story and you can not progress until you defeat the void boss. I believe players will leave this game because of that. Void intercept battles need a rework !

I'm trying to max out my poison chick just for this boss, I mained Lepic then Bunny unfortunately. Would adding frost ATK to my guns help make up the difference in his bullet resistance or no?

The best method to this fight is to do the fight over and over again until you get matchmade with a Gley that’s running infinite launcher ammo

Take the equipment tips from the video, but do the solo battle, it will be much easier

Well, i wish i saw this before i beat it with Bunny while mostly using gun damage xD I sincerely hope they tone the co-op bosses difficulty the fuck down, because I've literally had to solo every single boss fight. It's literally easier to get their patterns down and solo them, than it is to find a single competent squad in this game... Fucking ridiculous.

This boss literally made people so mad they quit the game Reddit is on FIRE and thats very DUMB move from the developers to create a boss like this........ Btw he has like 85 % damage reduction from weapons...

So i have to farm for another character , lvl up that character just to beat a boss. i have 3k fire res lvl 65 guns and most of the upgraded mods similar to yours so putting out decent damage and 2 of them have purp/gold chill atk on them too ... I want to prestige the character i want to play. I don't care about the skins, in any game if a character has lighting/thunder im there 🤣

Readying as bunny doesn’t matter because the damage should be coming from your weapons any ways even if you ready as a support unless your Amex and you keep the bubble up as much as possible your gonna die anyways 😂 this boss needs a nerf and in fact I don’t think you should have to kill these bosses for the story anyways it should just be for item drops

so far I'm at 63 attempts. tanky ajax, ability spam freyna, nuke viessa... all of them haven't gotten passed half health. it's his outgoing damage. it's ridiculous. even with like 6k resistance to heat

Ajax pain when the other 3 player use Bunny is real. Seriously she's AOE specialist not tanky or single damage type (her Z only work on small boss). Stop using Bunny on Colossi fight !

This boss is a straight up dps check except the game is designed like shit where you can't just go farm to get overlevelled and come back for the boss later.

I would say Ajax is bad, since he lack skill dmg. There is never a point where I had issues ressing players during this fight. Pyromaniac has low health pool, but take something like 10x reduced gun dmg, this is important knowledge. So using as much skill based damage is important. I found using Freyna made the boss easy and she is free to play friendly, as she can deal good damage to Pyromaniac with Q V and Z ability. Bunny is rough on that boss, as playing too close to Pyromaniac is bad due to flamethrower and cone stomp, while Freyna can easily keep her distance. I have now carried multiple groups through Pyromaniac with Freyna. Remember, skill based dmg = win. Good luck.
