You’d think now that Microsoft owns Bethesda they let them add stuff, I mean they did add some updates and added HDR and 60fps on XBOX series

@@mikedawolf95 hopefully with Microsoft owning them, they'll make Bethesda let obsidian do a sequel to new Vegas in the interim until fallout 5 is released

It was because Obsidian didnt manage their time properly, something the devs have repeatedly admitted and criticized the studio for once they were no longer there. Bethesda if anything sped the development up by having BGS give them all the assets and tools from 3 to use, which Josh Sawyer said helped immensely. Also, you're crazy if you think any game developer is going to cut console releases entirely and somehow make a profit or sell well. Especially in a time where the 360 and ps3 were substantially more popular than pc gaming and the main part of the gaming community.

@BigEd0088 It was until the company started going out of business, then their last attempt was to bring Fallout to xbox before they had to sell off their IPs. Turns out appealing solely to what was and still is the niche side of the industries platforms, and losing millions of potential customers because you're on PC only isn't as safe of a business decision as you think.

I prefer giving em more detailed backstory and how Caesar went full villain. Just plain and simple one dimensional villains dont seem so appetizing for my taste. Wonder what would Legion look like when devs werent short on deadlines and could make entire chapter dedicated to Arizona side of story so we can understand why legion walked the evil road.

@@homer6292 at least NCR's history explained why they declined to this level now. I cant find lore regarding foundation of legion other than story of caesar and conquering tribes of arizona(forgot exact number of tribe tho). Which is real shame.

@@4nchoragepingu887 I really wish we knew how Caesar became how he did. It'd make joining the Legion a bit more relatable and understandable when all of the other options are morally better choices, even if they're still flawed.

@@machinebread9598 One of the slaves will mention that "the legionaires usually leave you alone if you're too young or old. Usually." Doesn't exactly imply sexual assault, just that you might still be mistreated even if you're very old or very young.
