I remember when I first went on footings, I'd been house bashing for 2 years then got sent to a different site to do footings for the first time and didn't know anything about them. I was worried what people would think, I soon got the hang of it but the days leading up to it and the first couple of days on that site I got really bad panic attacks. People need to give Amy a break, she's very green and everything is on camera. It's not a nice feeling. She'll soon pick it up so be nice people! I'm sure we've all been there 😁❤️💪🙏

Amy :) i think under build is if you have two houses on a slope you have to bring the house below it up to level ground basically building them to the same level on the ground :) this is why datum lines are important everything is built from that level :) just watch him he will show you hands on is easyer than explaining things once you see it done you will understand it :)

Amy don't listen to the negative Nancy's. They saw a 10min clip out of a full day. Like what Charlie said at the start of this video. I remember when you 1st started working with Charlie you was labouring/on the hod for months, head down grafting. Now your Amy the bricky learning bricklaying, and from when you started laying bricks to now you have improved so much. Keep up the learning and hard graft you showed from day one , I think you have done a fabulous job in all aspects. Keep going 💪👍👊💯🤙✅🌟🔨⚒️👌

What you do with your staff is up to you, if you’re happy to have them stand around watching you, then so be it, when i was a hoddy back in the 80’s and we stood around like that, we lost pay, so that was our choice, you have a good team there who all respect each other, it ultimately know you’re the boss. Ignore all the keyboard warriors,they wouldn’t have the balls to say it to your face. Considering Amy is still continuing with her studies, running your home,cooking cleaning etc after a ,one day on site, is a credit to her. Keep up the good work Amy and ignore the trolls.

Before Amy started laying bricks, folks forget that she used to mix the cement for Charlie and do all the cleaning, I hate the cleaning part, so much respect for her. I know folks watching this and see you laying Charlie and her Laying will think she is a dead weight. What folks don't know is she has not got her speed up yet, but it will come, folks give the lass a chance. What she lays is good work and that at her stage is what is important not her speed, it will come, Tell Amy to keep her chin high, she has nothing to worry about these fools who know not what she can do or not. She is doing very well, keep going girl.

Sorry to hear all this negative talk about Amy I think she a legend . This is the reason I haven't put any videos up I think it would drive me mad . Loved the way you set footings up with profile I do it exactly the same ..little tip drill a small piece of timber to footing secure using 2 small nails 1 long nail then use a zip tie to ancor bottom off profile to timber .you can then pull line as tight as you like it will not move 😉👍keep ya chin up Amy x
I totally agree with how you defend amy, no one else sees the full picture except you and that's how it should stay....but please dont let her get used to thowing muck on the ground instead of board. Loving the new site and different place and atmosphere.

Amy is a star. She is in a male dominant workplace and having to deal with all that that entails and also having to deal with the keyboard warriors on RU-vid.
