In this video I show how to access the IDRAC6 Virtual Console via a Docker container. This method works from any instance of Docker running on any platform with network access.
Docker Hub:
hub.docker.com/r/domistyle/id...
Docker command: Don't forget to change the HOST to your IP and the Password to yours...
docker run -d -p 5800:5800 -p 5900:5900 -e IDRAC_HOST=192.168.0.120 -e IDRAC_USER=root -e IDRAC_PASSWORD=1234 domistyle/idrac6

handy. which ports did you change for the multiple idrac6 containers? I tried it but it only works on 1 for me (using the provided ports from the info page)

r r When you spin up a container you use the -p hostport:containerport format. The container port has to stay the same but you can increment the host port by 1. Or whatever you want really just as long as the host ports are available. And really you only need the first port if you’re going to connect via the webpage. The second port is for directly connecting via VNC. So basically -p 5800:5800 then -p 5801:5800 then 5802:5800 etc. And you have to change the web address for each localhost:5800 then localhost:5801. Etc

What did you do to build this on the RPI?
@AllenSampsell

Good4Y0u what RPI? The picture in the thumbnail is an iDRAC card for a Dell R710.

@@AllenSampsell i mean to say were you able to build the image for arm processors. To run it off say a raspberry pi. (RPI) . I could only build it on a non arm machine.

Good4Y0u ahh I see. No I’m not the one who created it. And I don’t have any experience building for an RPI. I don’t actually own one yet either lol

@@AllenSampsell ah. I just one as a jump box for my servers. Currently I vpn in and run the windows java version with the security disabled. It works but not as well as this does. .. with the caviate that if I need the idrac I likely don't have the host itself up and thus can't use the host for this container. My catch 22.

instructions on setting up the virtual media part?

Should be able to add another Docker volume. Might want to use a bind mount to a specific folder and then place you iso file there. I don’t know the exact steps as I have not used it. I have physical access and an SD card.

I tried to apply this solution, but i'm having an issue, when I Access on the web, it display the idrac interface with a black screen but suddenly disapears and the container restarts

Sorry, that's a new one on me. You figure it out?

@@AllenSampsell Not yet. I’m doing some research because in the docker logs there’s an error trying to find the com.avocent.kvm.client.Main class

Thanks for posting the link. I have tested this and it does work, I just don't like enabling those outdated algorithms especially with it being Java...

You still need to save the viewer.jnlp and run it. And have to do this every time you have a new session. The docker is so much easier and quicker.
