Really relevant topic. I am pregnent and it is my first time. I am really scared as I live in abroad. I asked my parents if they can come for few months. My mom said that my dad is having an eye surgery on Feb. She said she will try to come by herself. I know my parents can't live separately. I told her not to leave dad and I will go India after the baby come. It is true that I am scared. But, I can't keep my parents separated just for my sake. I sent this video to my mom. Hope she changes her mind. My parents follows all of your videos. This video taught me how to behave when I have my children.

Bravo👏 to the whole team for performing a topic of utmost relevance in today's society. It is a fact that the young couples are office goers and hence find it too difficult to manage their children and office works simultaneously. But dear youth, realise that misusing your parents is not the right solution to this.Just imagine yourself in their shoes. Sooner or later the same youth will have to become the old and then how would you guys feel getting separated from your life partner at your old age and getting completely drained by your kids both mentally and physically when you guys should have been loved and taken care back by them. This is not to hurt anybody.But I couldn't help myself from raising my voice against this silent cruelty since I have been witnessing a lot of such scenarios in our society on a daily basis.This should STOP. Let your parents spent time with your children but misusing them is cruelty.🙏 They won't tell you it's hurting them and that is the true virtue of parenthood❤ and what do you think is your responsibility as their child??? Misuse them to run from your responsibilities???

Guys you should understand one thing - nowadays single salary is not sufficient. Women are still forced to work while they are carrying children. 2nd Atleast for the first 5 months young family needs their support. Because the mother also has to heal after she gives birth. Usually first 5 to 6 months after the baby is born the parents and relatives should take care of her. And I agree too that we should not misuse the parents and their efforts. It should start with setting expectations during the marriage or pregnancy itself. It will be very difficult to manage the competitive world along with the family. Financial independence for woman is being used by the husband and their family as well. From pregnancy till the child is 3 years old the woman shouldn’t work. But is this possible in our society? Everyone in the family should be ready to take care of the child. It’s not single person’s responsibility. As long as we can help each other, these wouldn’t rise. Think practical.

This video is an eye opener for many of them. I have seen this in my own cousin aunty house husband is staying in a different place for one son and wife is staying with another son in a different place looking after their grandson and daughter. They are forgetting that they have their own life half of their life gone by looking after their children now half will be gone by looking at their grandchildren. Whatever maybe they are used. After marriage we moved to the US. My parents came for my delivery. But from the beginning we made it clear that they were here only to help or for moral support. My husband and I made sure amai did not wake up in the night if the baby cried. As the father in this video said - They have raised us. It is our turn to raise our kids. We may make mistakes. But that is the way everybody learns. Due to our insistence on being the primary care givers, my parents as well as my in-laws always were happy to visit (3 times each in the last 20+ years). And every time they came, we made sure they really did not lift a finger. But I am currently surrounded by several couples like the ones in this video

സത്യം..... എന്റെ ഒരു ഫ്രണ്ട് ന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പോയപ്പോൾ അവളും hus ഉം തമ്മിലുള്ള സംസാരം കേട്ടു... കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ നോക്കാൻ അവളുടെ അമ്മേ കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ അയാൾ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അച്ഛനെയും കുടി കൊണ്ട് വരാമെന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു അപ്പോൾ അയാൾ പറയുവാ "അത് നടക്കില്ല അച്ഛനെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടു എന്ത് ചെയ്യാനാണെന്നു"..... പിന്നീട് എനിക്ക് health issue ഉണ്ടായപ്പോൾ hus എന്റെ അമ്മേയെ കൊണ്ടുവരാമെന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോഴേ ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞെ വേണ്ട.... അമ്മക്കും ഒരുപാട് health issue ഉള്ളതാണ് അതിനിടക്ക് എന്നെ കൂടെ നോക്കിയാൽ എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അവസ്ഥാ moshamakum.... ഞാൻ ഒരുപാട് കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു...ഇത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അത് ഓർത്തു.... നമ്മുടെയും husnteyum മാതാപിതാക്കളെ നമ്മുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കായി പിഴിയരുത്... I have 3 kids, at my post and pre pregnancy times my parents and in- laws helped me a lot, and my concern was same, will that bother them or not. So, I was also doing homework’s. And, I allowed my parents to go back to India ( from Canada) soon after (2nd month) my 3rd delivery, at that time my elder ones were only 4 and 2 years respectively. And luckily I was healthy enough and when I realised that they are getting bored here, they wanted to stay with grandkids but missing rest of the things. When I realised and don’t want them to suffer just for me I let them go home. And now I am working too and really wish a helping hand, but the same concerns are keeping me away from calling them here. I am also afraid that will they think that I am misusing them. That is the another reason I am not calling them. My kids love them a lot, especially my mother-in-law, she is alone there and we really wish her to be here only because we love her. About worried will she get stuck here or think like this… But if she is here I will take care her like my child.❤❤❤
