I would not use the entire container. About a quart of the tube would have been sufficient. Some people experience headache from the miconozle so you have to be careful. It doesn't have to be washed out. You can use it with your hair products. IT REALLY WORKS

My Family Fixed This - Naturally: 1. Wash your hair with Sulfur 8 shampoo, using a silicone scalp massager. 2. Let it dry naturally. Be sure to blot the excess water with a brand new towel or one that you have never used on your hair / body before. 3. That night, SMOTHER your entire head with Vaseline - wrap it in a scarf and sleep that way. Why? The easiest, most 'natural' way to kill the yeast / candida and anything else that is living on your scalp which is what is probably happening - in a matter of minutes - is to simply smother it - NO OXYGEN means no ability to breathe, thrive, grow or survive. 4. The next morning, mix bentonite clay, apple cider vinegar and tea tree oil (whatever ration you want...it really does not matter) into a bowl (do not use a metal spoon when mixing clay - use plastic or wood only). SMOTHER your scalp with the clay, let it dry then just sit under the shower and let it rinse off until the water runs clear. You may need to do this a few times to get all of the Vaseline off of your scalp and hair - but you'll see that you've just 'killed' the yeast when not one hair follicle itches. Repeat weekly, or as often as you need to and be sure to hot wash with white vinegar and baking soda all of the bedding, towels, clothing and anything else that it may be living on. (fyi never mix bleach and vinegar). We tried this - and it literally solved the problem overnight. If there is a new issue we just repeat the process. Good luck and God Bless!

I had a tapered cut about a year ago and I'm ready for the length. The only question I have is what oils do you suggest to mix and what do you moisturize your hair with everyday or every other day? I use Shea moisture right now and I wanna try something different.
Kiswana Green Lol, trust me I feel you!! I usually make my own oil concoction with olive oil and/or coconut oil, Jamaican black castor oil (really good to promote hair growth and thickness), jojoba oil, and tea tree. Really just whatever oils I have around the house. If you apply the oil to your scalp and hair every other day you should see growth too. I’m also big on the L.C.O method so anytime I do my hair I first apply oil to my scalp with an applicator bottle (like the one in this video), then I put in a leave in conditioner (right now I’m using TGIN green tea leave in), then go in with my moisturizer (I’m using Cantu moisturizer at the moment), and finish off with my oil mixture, just to seal in the moisture. Six years into the natural transition. Due to perms and 5years of stress taking care of my son, losing him then 2 yrs later to lose my mom thinned my edges and very hard to grow. Val Yes, try it! Especially if you’re trying to grow your hair. It definitely works. I grew 1.5-2 inches in a month. When researching I did see that some people got headaches from it, but it was the ones who left it on too long or didn’t dilute it with a deep conditioner and oils. I mixed mine with all the products shown in the video and only let it sit for 1 hour. I also wouldn’t do the treatment longer than 3 months. The only side effect I’d say I had was a super dry, itchy scalp. So when you do it make sure you keep your scalp moisturized!
Dominique Woolley Yes, it can be stored in the fridge. I stored mine in my bathroom cabinet at room temperature because I went through the mixture pretty fast. I did it 2-3 times a week for about a month
So did you wash your hair everytime you did it? And can i just use tea tree oil and olive oil and a leave in conditioner? And how many monistats did you buy in a month? And or how long did an application last?
Iamtalent88 Yes, I washed my hair every time I used the treatment. And I would use a deep conditioner instead of a leave in. You could even use just regular conditioner if you’d prefer. The olive oil and tea tree are good though. I went through about a tube a week so I bought about 4 tubes in a month.
Iamtalent88 if you’re using essential oils just use a few drops. If not you could use a little more (1-2 bigger drops). For the conditioner I’d fill up a little less than half of the container with conditioner. It doesn’t have to be exact, you just want a good amount to dilute the miconazole cream

Pisces Goddess That’s a good question. Never thought of using avocado. Not sure how food would react to the antifungal agents in Monistat. If you used it I would definitely use other items to make an avocado conditioning treatment. I wouldn’t use just avocado and the Monistat
2pocalypse I just was testing it out to see if it worked and I also didn’t want to build an immunity to Monistat. Also when researching a lot of articles advised not exceeding 3 consecutive months. They advised taking a break in between so your body doesn’t build an immunity to the product

Can this be used by white folks?? The cuticle layer for black person is thicker than a white persons hair and that’s why you have to use certain stronger products to straighten black persons hair. I did not see any white folks comments. Appreciate your time. Looking for something to help grow me some hair after my chemo. Thanks
Gia Iyana The hair on Asian folks is as tuff to curl as it is for black folks to straighten. The hair layers per hair are as heavy as layers as black folks hair. So I would assume the strength of the hair to be as strong as black folks hair. But thank you for your reply.
