The active ingredient in Monistat 7, Miconazole Nitrate, has been proven to aid in increased hair growth. Mix the anti-fungal treatment with your favorite deep conditioner and go to natural based oils and apply treatment to the SCALP ONLY 2-3 times a week.
THINGS TO BE CAUTIOUS OF:
Treatment can cause headaches or bodily resistance if not diluted with oils and conditioners and if used excessively (do not use treatment for more than 4 consecutive months). Also, it can make the scalp very dry, causing itchiness and irritation, so make sure to keep your scalp oiled.

My friend said they used to mix Sulfur 8, vitamin E, and Monistat together. So I tried it and it worked! Notice growth right away. I just start back using it.

Miconazole works because it's simply a fungal remover and a lot of times, our hair follicle is clogged up with fungus [that you can't see] and parasites. It's promoted for the vagina but it works for any fungus infections; hair, feet, vagina, etc.

My Family Fixed This - Naturally: 1. Wash your hair with Sulfur 8 shampoo, using a silicone scalp massager. 2. Let it dry naturally. Be sure to blot the excess water with a brand new towel or one that you have never used on your hair / body before. 3. That night, SMOTHER your entire head with Vaseline - wrap it in a scarf and sleep that way. Why? The easiest, most 'natural' way to kill the yeast / candida and anything else that is living on your scalp which is what is probably happening - in a matter of minutes - is to simply smother it - NO OXYGEN means no ability to breathe, thrive, grow or survive. 4. The next morning, mix bentonite clay, apple cider vinegar and tea tree oil (whatever ration you want...it really does not matter) into a bowl (do not use a metal spoon when mixing clay - use plastic or wood only). SMOTHER your scalp with the clay, let it dry then just sit under the shower and let it rinse off until the water runs clear. You may need to do this a few times to get all of the Vaseline off of your scalp and hair - but you'll see that you've just 'killed' the yeast when not one hair follicle itches. Repeat weekly, or as often as you need to and be sure to hot wash with white vinegar and baking soda all of the bedding, towels, clothing and anything else that it may be living on. (fyi never mix bleach and vinegar). We tried this - and it literally solved the problem overnight. If there is a new issue we just repeat the process. Good luck and God Bless!

Raesheka antwine Yes, Monistat 3 should work. It’s the same as Monistat 7 BUT Monistat 3 is more concentrated and used for fewer days. Just make sure to dilute with a deep conditioner and oil or hair grease.

OMG 😳!!! This is absolutely phenomenal & genius 👏 I have a very important & serious question, does this also work for white girls hair too?! I've got the thinnest & most brittle hair on the face of the planet (or in the top 20, 😆) & have tried every white girl product on the shelf. I started using black girl products about 15 years ago after I sent my husband to "get me something that'll help this time. There was an African American lady in the isle & when he askedher what she'd recommend, she didn'tunderstandwhathe was asking, so I told him to pass her the phone (I was on the phone with him at the time). She led me to the African Pride leave in lotion & castor oil. I still use African Pride for the moisturizing but I had to wash my hair 5x with dawn to get the castor oil out. Yess, I hope it helps 💕I did it 2-3 times for about a month. I would say if you use it consistently don't use it for longer than 3 months because you can risk your body becoming immune to Monistat or experience physiological effects like headaches.

Love your video. I have a few questions please help. I should use the treatment 2-3 times a week and cowash or just shampoo +condition each time;2-3 times a week. Or, should I do the treatment 2-3 times, wash out, condition, then put oils on it? Sorry, I just want to make sure I do it the way you do it because your hair is beautiful. My hair is long but when I cut it, the sides are much shorter than my back. I then want to tell my daughte about it. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you so much for the support 💕 When doing the treatment, I apply it to my SCALP ONLY first, then follow up with both shampoo and conditioner to wash my hair, then apply my oil when styling. I use shampoo and conditioner each time I apply the treatment just to make sure I’m washing all of it out. Let me know if you have anymore questions and I’ll do my best to answer! ☺️

@@angelatwilliams1867 Hi Angela, Yes, I am on Week 3 and I think my hair has grown 1 inch more. Yeah. My daughter and I have been using it. My edges were a little thin but don't remember if it was like that before. I also take the 10,000 Biotin which is reviewed as really good. The Biotin is 1 tablet and melts in your mouth. I also had to learn how to not blow dryer it so much and sit under the dryer more. Let me know how it turns out.

I don't see what the big deal is. People who have thinning hair may have a fungus as the cause, in which this will work. Monistat is just the brand name. It's simply miconazole nitrate, an anti fungul cream. It doesn't HAVE to be used on the vagina! It's for any fungus. It makes me sad to hear people so uneducated as to think this is a specific vagina cream that someone is putting on their head. It's a cream. ONE of the uses is fungus in the vagina, there are multiple uses for it. And yes, it should go on scalp, not hair. You would think that was self explanatory.

Monistat a BRAND. look on Amazon...they have tons of basic just tubes of miconazole for application to fungul areas anywhere. Of course they say don't put it on your scalp...they want you to go get the stuff that says "for scalp" for $15 more. Wake up, people.

That could work! I would also mix the wild growth oil and monistat with a deep conditioner (if you want to rinse the treatment out) or with hair grease (if you want to leave the treatment in)

Stefany Michelle Hey! I shampooed every time I did the treatment. I usually only shampoo once a month, but I wanted to make sure I washed out all of the treatment and make sure my scalp was as clean as possible for when I applied my oils. Hope this helps! When this first came out people were just diluting it with hair oil and moisturizing the scalp with it and leaving it on the scalp. There was no rinsing it out. So yes I’m sure now that I was leaving it on too long. Lol. Thanks

For about the last week ive been applying miconazole to my disappearing edges. For you who don't know miconazole is the active ingredient in monistat that is supposed to regrow hair. I have noticed itching and mild soreness and last night I noticed i woke up with a headache. But i did not know that you were supposed to rinse it out. Anywho...be very careful trying this. And this girl already has a lot of hair. Not sure why she needed this.

swright4twenty Yes I definitely rinsed it out when I did it! Some say they left it in, but I personally don’t feel comfortable leaving something like that on my scalp. And it was really drying. I kinda touched on that in my results video. But I literally oiled my scalp everyday so that helped.. As far as why I did it, I wasn’t seeking growth results. Just heard about it, researched it, and figured I’d try it and share my experience with those who wondered about it too 🤷🏽‍♀️

Teneshia Peterson I did it 2-3 times a week. It made my scalp really dry so make sure you keep your scalp moisturized if you try it!

Hi! I am so sorry for the delay in responding! For some reason RU-vid has not been notifying me of any new comments. But I use it as a scalp treatment 2-3 times per week. You can do it for 1-3 months, but I wouldn't recommended going any longer than 3 months consistently. Hope this helps!

Brandon Fallen I wouldn’t apply it to a protective style only because I don’t feel comfortable leaving the treatment on my scalp. I’ve heard when you leave it on and don’t rinse it, it can cause headaches. So each time I applied the treatment I washed it out and applied oil to my scalp

Oh trust me, my natural hair journey has definitely been a process! My hair hasn’t always been this thick and healthy. A whole lot of relaxers, bleach, and heat had my hair in HORRIBLE condition for a very long time 😭 But hey, we started from the bottom now we here 🙌🏽

E Gun I personally wouldn’t recommend using it as grease because I’ve heard if you leave it on it can cause headaches. So I prefer to let it sit, wash it out, and apply oils that also promote hair growth to my scalp

BlkSwn I did a series of videos. The first one shows how to make the treatment. Second one is the application. Third are my results.. You have to mix it with something because you can’t just put straight up Monistat on your scalp..
