In this video I will share how easy it is to use resin in silicone molds. I am using epoxy resin in my molds. I love making a lot of castings at once so that when I am ready to create I have them on hand.

Yay! I also use clear epoxy resin for my prima moulds becuz I can't seem to find the milky colored one. Am sure I can learn something from your video. Would love to know how to clean the moulds though, the residue of the resin often stays in the tiny nooks and crannies, especially in intricate designs.

Have you ever used the resin to fill larger mold pieces? For example, say a hand shaped one, not flat on one side, but the entire hand? Wondering if that may work, or would you recommend something else? I’m interested in creating an entire hand, that is colorless. And what would you recommend to use to create the mold (such as alginate, silicone, etc) to fill with the resin?

I prefer polyurethane resin and I used some metal package after pate. This package is elastic enough to do some kind of a nozzle and it's easier to pour the reisin into molds. The epoxy is nice beacuse it's colourless - I have to try this one either :) Thanks for that film!

I make dollhouse frames from silicone molds and have always used a 2 part "liquid plastic" It has a set time of only 3 minutes so it makes it difficult to pour many at a time How long do you have with this resin? I'm also curious how the finished product compares with liquid plastic. Durability and finish etc. THANK YOU!

Saying that you use "resin" is like saying that you use liquid. From what I see, what you use is EPOXY resin, and epoxy is the word to stress. There is also polyester resin, vinylester resin, and many more.
@heroesytumbas

Even just saying epoxy isn't specific enough, if you use coating epoxy as casting epoxy you'll end up with a mess.
