Thanks Melanie for your video and thank you StreamYard for this feature I really hope you offer it as a trial option so people can decide if they want to upgrade to professional. I would probably upgrade if I knew that it would work for my needs

We use four iPads in our Worship Service broadcasts. What we need is to be able to go from a wide shot to a medium shot or a close-up on one camera without having to move the camera. We can zoom in with the iPad. However, StreamYard only shows a wide static shot. When will you add the capability to change shots on one device?

Hi, I know this is not live but wanted to ask. Mel I noticed you do not have any headphones on. What is your opinion about using them? The system states it is better to have them. Any advice is great.

Actually, Melanie and Christian both wear headphones. They're using in-ear monitors. You can get them in clear, black, etc and they go over your ear and down your back - so it looks like you aren't wearing headphones.

Can we use Roadcaster Pro device to bring the camera in that way as well?

No. The Rodecaster Pro is just for bringing in your audio on location. Your audio runs through the Rodecaster Pro. If you have another camera, it comes in and then all audio runs together and gets processed by the RCP. Christian Karasiewicz 🦆

Even if it's just a trial for us that are on basic / Essentials give us the option of testing it before we upgrade that's what I want.

I have the basic plan and need that extra camera but can't afford the pro plan. Any plans to make it available to other payment plans?

I am using basic plan of streamyard and planning to upgrade to professional. I am streaming using a mobile phone. Is it possible that I can use extra camera using a mirrorless camera as my second camera?

This is great! 1. I just purchased mevo. Can you do a video that talks about adding wireless cameras. 2. My computer camera (which has to function as my main camera because my ipad & my phone dont let me add an extra camera, (1) will the phone or ipad ever get the ability to add an extra cam like the computer (2) my computer camera has an inferior camera to my phone or other wireless camera, is there a way to hide my main camera but still have access to the audio? Thank you!!

Hi there! If the Mevo can be used by an app like Zoom or discovered by the browser, it can be used on StreamYard. There wouldn't be a way for a mobile device to add a second camera inside the studio on that device; however, if you join the studio from both devices and disable audio avatars, you can just use the camera from the phone/iPad. You would need to turn off the microphone and mute the speaker on one of the devices so you don't experience echo. - Katie 🦆

For anyone who has tried this, how is the sync/latency between the two cams?

@@StreamYard Thanks. Yeah, I mean sans the audio, which I know not used. Just wondering how much lag, if any, can be seen just video-wise between two cams. A couple frames is not big deal, but once you get to 8+ frames, it can be noticeable.

While I personally don’t use stream-yard (I am an ecamm user) I find it interesting that the line is starting to blur between level 2 and level 3

Are you referring to a level 2 and 3 camera? If so, what type of cameras do you use?

@@StreamYard Level 2 is a what I define as a web based streaming software and level 3 would be a downloadable software (Ecamm)

Yes! You can either use the extra camera feature on the Professional plan or higher--on our other plans, you can join from other windows or devices and it will act as a second camera. - Katie 🦆
