Here is a link to my basic Battle of Stalingrad Target mapping profile, which you can download: 1drv.ms/u/s!AgLdyOquqporgRT2AagyTfo4wUuO?e=6tJfXr To use this file, run the Target software, then select "Edit Configuration" from the dashboard, browse to and then select my mapping profile file that you have downloaded to your PC, then you can make edits (my key binds will likely be different to yours for some functions) or simply just save it in Target and it will appear in your Custom profiles list
That is a helpful Video, thank you for putting this up. I am still kind of surprised that such a common Joystick / Throttle set needs so much setup to work in game. There should be a default profile that at least does the basic stuff without so much effort.
what game is that? do the in-game settings not allow you to assign pitch/roll/yaw to joystick axes? if not then you could try just assigning keys to your hotas buttons (you can still go through the process of creating your axes, they just wont get used, or you could set all the axes to "none" so that they are not used in the Target profile) but it probably will end up easier just using a keyboard to play the game.
In TARGET, if you want to use your joystick yaw then in the "Configure Axis Mapping" section (timestamp 02:08 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eAqJ5RhZnyo.htmlfeature=shared&t=129), the third axis down is called "Rudder" so you would select DX_Z_AXIS from the drop down menu against "Rudder" (instead of my example, where i have set the Throttle "TRDR" Axis to DX_Z_AXIS). Then when you run the TARGET profile and load up the game, just go into your control settings in-game (Settings / Key Mapping / Plane Controls) and set your "plane control:yaw" to your joystick yaw function. hope that helps
you can download my mapping profile from here: 1drv.ms/u/s!AgLdyOquqporgRT2AagyTfo4wUuO?e=6tJfXr to access it within Target, open Target and select "Edit Configuration" from the main dashboard, browse to my file and then you can make edits or save it and it will appear as one of your Custom Configs
