Hi, can we turn off auto walk unlock? Like if I just want the door to unlock only when I physically press the unlock button on the key fob, and not just by fob being close to the vehicle and someone touching the door handle. I assume that can be risky. What if I get close to the vehicle and someone else opens the door? Can't that be avoided?
What about when it stops locking when you walk away with the fob in your pocket?? Mine started doing that. I did get a message that the keyless system had a problem but it went off and i havent seen message since but car no longer unlocks when i walk away. I have it turned to on in the settings
@@HondaCanadaInc I was wondering the same thing. I have the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan LX, but the walk away auto lock feature does not pop up in settings...
@@michaelblanco6665 Went to the dealership and they said the LX doesn't come with the feature. Could be a discrepancy between the American LX and Canadian LX I guess?
When I’m nearby my vehicle and I try to open it by touching inside the handle it’s not working, how I can fix that ? I have Honda civic 2017 model before it’s work properly but now it’s stop working please help me if u know how to fix it .
Hey Astha, I am not sure if your issue has been fixed, but my previous car (Suzuki) started having those issues and it turned out I had to replace the battery of the remote. Hope this helps!
