At 42-43 seconds, I recognize kids wearing the tee-shirts of the navy band "Far East Edition." That was a tough day for us: we had been working 20-hour days to coordinate rescues. I remember seeing a guy wearing my donated dungarees. Glad they fit.
I was living in Bataan in Philippines in from January to july in 1981 and next room to the lady with 2 kids and i remembered the name of the boy is ( Su ) but I can not remember his mom and her sister name ( hello Chị và 2 cháu ) my name is Nhân.
With all the strife and racial tension concerning immigration in 2022, it's very refreshing to see the US Navy rescuing the desperate boat people. Maybe Mr. Draft dodger Trump should watch this video and find out what America is really all about.
