Jāvēd Ahmed Ghāmidī (Urdu: جاوید احمد غامدی) (born April 7, 1952) is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, Quran scholar, Islamic modernist, exegete and educationist. He is also the founding president of Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences.
Ghamidi's conclusions and understanding of Islam, including the Sharia, has been presented concisely in his book Mizan with the intention of presenting the religion in its pure shape, cleansed from tasawwuf, qalam, fiqh, all philosophies and any other contaminants.

I left many relatives,friends,persons and ulmas who went against of IK.recently I removed Engineer MA Mirza sb from my contact list.But I never left Ustad Ghamdi sb bcz he lives in my right side of the heart along with IK who lived in left side of my heart as well.love you and believe you both.😘😘

With very much due respect confusing questions and answers were not very clear either, we as people look upon Ghamdi sb for guidance but I strongly feel he is very much against Imran Khan s ideology or way of politics I never heard any good word from Ghamdi sb mouth in favour of Imran Khan.. This Man (IK) to me a legendry personality taught us Pakistanis how to be a nation how to stand against cruelty and oppression ( and soo much more I'm sure u know way more then me) in short but here Ghamdi sb not saying anything about this great man, to me he is but if he is not then my humble request is plz tell us why he is not a great leader at least better then others. Mr ilyas plz answer this.

He never says any good about him. He definitely has some personal problems with him. A scholar should be able to overcome his jealousy but sadly he is not that great at all.

I got bit disappointed with Ghamdi’s comment, instead of appreciating IK’s efforts of 25 years to get the youth involved in political process Ghadmi sahib indirectly criticizing IK, basically Ghamdi sahib could not tap the youth and middle class of Pakistan with his religious views on the other hand IK has been able to tap the same youth and middle class of Pakistan and they all came out and voted for IK. Historic moment in Pakistan. We must appreciate what IK has done.

معاف کرنا یہ تو پتا تھا کہ غامدی صاحب عمران کو نہیں پسند کرتے نواز شریف کے مقابلے میں آپ کی دینی خدمت کا کھلا اعتراف کرتا ہوں لیکن سیاسی تبصرے شاید آپ کی شخصیت کو نقصان پہنچا دیں کیونکہ سیاسی معملات تو ہر شخص آسانی سے سمجھ لیتا ہے دین کے مقابلے میں جس کو آپ بدتمیزی کہ رہیں ہیں وہ شعور اور قوم کا غصہ ہے جو چوروں اور ڈاکوں کے خلاف نکل رہا ہے اس میں یقیناً کہیں بد تہذیبی بھی ہو گئ ہو گئ آج پوری قوم ان کے خلاف اکٹھی ہو گئ ہے جو اس ملک کے کرتا دھرتا ہیں یہ بھی عمران کے حق میں جاتا ہے کہ اس نے قوم کو شعور دیا اور ان لوگوں کے خلاف کھل کر بولنا شروع کر دیا ہے جس سے بہتری کی کہیں امید نظر آنا شروع ہو گئ ہے ویسے اس قوم کی جہالت کا تو آپ سے زیادہ شاید ہی کسی کو پتا ہو لیکن اب آپ بھی آہستہ آہستہ ان کی سمجھ میں آنا شروع ہو گئے ہیں اس کئے مشورہ ہے کہ سیاست سے پرہیز ہی کریں تو ہمارے دینی علم میں اضافے کا باعث بنیں گے شکریہ

For the first time, I tend to disagree with Ghamdi. ‘Hikmat-e-Amli kee tabdili’ comment is only partially true, otherwise it’s a mischaracterization of IK’s vision: consolidate and strengthen OIC, a more sensible approach on Afghan war, building stronger relationships with Russia and China (historically we have paid a heavy price being 100% US ally aka slave), and consequently not wanting to be part of constant conflicts instigated by the West. Did Zardari ever have that kind of standing? Isn’t he the one who Obama has quoted saying he (Obama) was surprised that Zardari was comfortable letting the US do whatever drone attacks it wished from Pakistan’s soil? Was PML any different? Yes, IK was an amateur and lacked a seasoned politician’s art of handling sensitive matters. Also, spending too much time mud slinging the opponents. But his vision was definitely much better and longer term than all his opponents.

Actually Imran Khan does deserve severe punishment for awakening and creating awareness as well as making people, especially, youngsters about difference between truth and lies, right or wrong. This awareness and consciousness has started working effectively like clean flowing water. The beauty of clean water is wherever it goes life not only grows but flourishes. Human blood is more than 70 percent water and extremely important and significant for healthy life and healing. If you observe all human beings and living species are borne with a tiny part of water which a male ejaculates into female ovary. If this drop of semen is ejaculated by a husband into wife’s vagina then people like Quade Azam, Allam Iqbal, Imran Khan and akin kinds of great leaders are born. On the contrary when this tiny drop of water is ejaculated by a man other than husband thru illicit relationship then people like people sharif, Asif zardari, general Asim Munir, bajwa, qazi eesa, absar alam, nadeem Malik, kamran shahid, mujeeb shami, javed chaudary, matiullah jan, shahzeb, rana sanaullah, najam sethi, existing media channels owners and akin types of people are born. This fact has been proven by Islamic principles and scientifically too. Tremendous and profound gratitude and respect to all Pakistani voters who came out and cast their votes for a cause. It does reflect their sense of responsibility, commitment and determination towards standing as well supporting truthfulness. They have rejected the filthy corrupt stinking system characterless politicians were following ever since inception of this country. Great job.

Some of them are convicted, others hv solid proofs but they r relief due to establishment.. the whole world knows the corrupt opposition mafia.. The people of Pak is in debt to great service by Imran Khan. His continuous struggle for rule of law n staying truthful to his cause hv broken all barriers. Whole Pakistan stands behind him. He gave Pakistan hope, knowledge n most importantly understanding of our rights n obligations. Wut it means to hv rule of law. He did the biggest Jihad against this dictatorship.. Saying Qalima Haq in front of todays firouns.. All his life was spent for the betterment of people.. His political struggle of 27+ years has always been peaceful revolution.. n we hv seen it in Feb 2024 as whole Pak gave him 3/4 majority mandate. Who ever stood against this honest man has gained nothin but humiliation as Imran Khan speaks the truth Its time Ghamdi Sahib openly stands with IK n appreciate his efforts to establish rule of law.. instead of baseless hidden criticism which has no authentication.. would ultimately harm ur standing n status.. @zarashah6015 He technically didn't support others.. Our collective disappointment is that he didn't stand or show support for Pak's biggest leader Imran Khan.. That's why it's sad.. He is such a knowledgeable person. He should know better. Clearly in Pak wuts happening right now, it's either U are with IK, or U are with corrupt PDM + establishment.. there is no in between now Allah Subhanhu WataAllah made it very easy n clear for people to choose the side of truth n justice which is to side with Imran Khan

Only thing you have against IK is name calling i.e billo rani etc. Now lets make a comparison; PMLN = Model Town killing/Vulgar actions against Benazir etc PPP = Al Zulfiqar force/Waderas subjugating people in Sindh MQM = Mass killings in Karachi for decades. Yet people blame IK/PTI for hate and division despite the fact that he is the only leader who has following throughout the country and not directly/indirectly involved in murders. Love Ghamidi sb and his approach but current analysis about PTI and IK is not what is expected of him. The youth that is currently supporting PTI and standing behind IK is not supporting IK for the sake of IK but because of his acceptance of his mistakes and his commitment to the principle of civilian supremacy. Also the youth sometimes do get out of limits but what can you expect of them when the state is using Police to enter in their houses at nights forcefully, abducting women, elderly and torturing people and the press conferences and TV interviews we saw and killing a number of people like Zille Shah and Arshad Sharif and attacking their leader with multiple assassination attempts. This is a reaction and just of words, they still chose to stay peaceful and tried to bring change using ballot but the state again rigged the elections, declaring the losers as winners, giving them government. With due respect Ghamidi sb I agree that morality should be kept at all times in both our words and actions but given the situation this should be ignored considering the mental stress the youth feels and releases with words only even after facing the brutal crackdowns and violence.

Rather than giving credit to Imran Khan for bringing this awareness to the youth, who before IK never cared about such ideas, Ghamidi saheb condemns him for some of the things which were never preached by Imran Khan.
