This happened across the street to my house last year. They did the same thing! They put the fireworks in the garage. A neighbor pounded on their door when they saw smoke coming out of the garage. The whole family were in bed and didn’t know that their house was on fire. We had 16 fire trucks lining the street. I could go on. It was terrifying. It could have taken out our whole neighborhood.
How does a person afford a million+ dollar house, yet not know how to deal with basic fire safety? We've been at it before we were human, people! Get woke, wake up, whatever!
My parents' neighbors on the bench always set off fireworks, and they're surrounded by brush. I'm always afraid I'm going to get a devastating phone call on the 4th or Pioneer Day.
As many times or more of warnings that's given ,yet people still make crazy choices! So sorry for the loss of your home!! I hope you can rebuilt soon!! TC
Never put spent fireworks in a trash can or container. The embers can smolder (even after being soaked) and relight the cardboard packaging hours later. If you can't plunge them in a bucket of water, wet them down and leave them in the street or gutter away from anything that could potentially catch fire.
Well.. at least this homeowner had the common sense and frankly courtesy to clean up the spent fireworks shells! Most folks leave their trash all over the streets! 🤜💥🤛
This is why I think lighting fireworks is a potentially really bad idea, why ruin your life over blowing a couple things up??.....Stupid...It's ok to have fun, maybe go out in a huge open desert area or something....How many homes need to be destroyed before some kind of regulation is passed??!!...
There should be a limit on the size of fireworks sold as well. Hot Pieces of big fireworks were hitting my roof. Even though they was being lit off from 200 feet away. Had to sprinkle my roof and keep everything wet. Waste of water in dry state@
They weren't hot pieces goofy their pieces of cardboard from the inside of the firework I got hit by hundreds of them last night none of them were burning
