I'm a truck driver myself and it's dangerous nowadays that people putting themselves in front of or around a semi truck get passed and move on don't lingering around and never try to pass on a bissy road i see semi trucks do this as well it's dangerous and fatal i don't know how this couple ended up in a head on crash with a semi truck but most of the time this happens when someone is trying to pass in an oncoming Laine 😊
Yeah I feel bad for semi truck drivers. Hear the horror stories all the time of drivers feeling survivors guilt for an accident. It's a no win scenario when this happens.
Oh how tragic. I can hear the pain in his loved one’s voice. I feel so sorry for both sides of the family. I pray he recovers and receives the help he needs. He really is going to need it.
According to Raul Garcia with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at 8:18 p.m. on southbound U.S. 93, approximately 60 miles northwest of Phoenix. Garcia said a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck was passing vehicles southbound in a legal passing zone, but “failed to complete the pass and collided head-on with a white Volvo commercial truck tractor pulling a trailer loaded with home goods.” The female passenger of the Toyota pickup truck died on impact. The male driver was transported to a hospital with critical injuries and burns. The driver of the Volvo was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
How tragic. I don't want to speculate but seems he may not have realized how close he was or how fast the commercial truck was going. People go way too fast..My heart breaks for the family.
I’ve driven that road and it’s single lane on both sides. I absolutely despise when people try passing. I will never do it, and I’m so scared of hitting someone passing in the opposite lane. I refuse to drive on single lane roads at night.
@@Ms.Kelaniif the husband had remained patient, they would have been able to safely pass the slower vehicle in front of them just a few miles down the road, where it widens to four lanes.
Oh my gosh there is so much traffic now and so many tragedy's. Our oldest daughter passed last December driving to work in a snow storm. Ut too proud to close roads until they clear. My sincere prayers for this family that is horrible. I hope the husband survives this. This just makes me cry.
Well it seems husband was speeding and trying to pass everybody and miscalculated killing his wife and unborn child so it seems like speeding and careless driving at night ...the driver himself ...is the culprit so basically he did this to himself.....
@@lindaroper2654that’s what you want to focus on? That’s the hill you want to die on? Focus on important things. You sound like a miserable person to be around.

Just be patient and take a few more minutes to get to your destination. You’ll never give those five minutes another thought….but this outcome is unthinkable. I feel for this young man. He has to live with this tragedy his entire life.
It doesn’t say who was at fault or is the comment he collided with a semi saying he was at fault ⁉️ either way such a sad and horrible thing to happen to them or anyone especially right before Christmas 😢
always with the unnecessary details.. what the F happened? how? who’s fault? name of the other driver?? wft is wrong with the news.. always blurring criminals faces and hiding their names too jeez
Very sad story. (Could someone tell us why the lighting on the KSL News set looks so dark and lifeless? There is no modelling, and the talent are hard to see, due to the bright background. Is there an issue with the new TV LED-based studio lighting?)
Another undivided highway in Arizona that desperately needs a center divider! So many people have accidents on this stretch and many of them lose their lives.
They wanted to have a child, so were planning to continue the pregnancy until a child was eventually born - "choice." It's sad that you try to be political on such a tragic post, and that you apparently slept through science class.
@@SheilaR.08wanting the child or not wanting it doesn’t change the facts! It’s a human baby! Don’t change the facts and narrative for malevolent choices! Do u but own it!
Every country on earth that has cars has car accidents. The more cars you have, the more accidents you get. The United States may lead in the number of accidents, but it also has the highest number of drivers on the planet. I wouldn't blame the "country" for people being stupid and taking risks. You can find stupidity anywhere, not just the U.S
Really? Do you live under a rock? Got your head berried in the sand? Like this doesn't happen in any other country.. smh 🙄 You might want to go find your brain
