With not quite enough Utile timber to finish a little side table, I added some Ash to bring it to dimension to finish the piece. And it turned out so nice, I may make it a feature option for paying clients!
This table was a trial for a new joint type at the top of the legs so I was free to experiment a little.
Only my making the two tone table top is covered in this video as there's already a video on the channel covering the complete table build. See here for more:

Beautiful result, as usual 🌟Would have been nice to see how you engineered the legs and made it look so seamless. This shows what you can do with seemingly useless offcuts. Thank you.

Thank you! Yeah, that's kinda why I thought I'd film this bit. We all have times when we need to make what we've got go a bit further. Did think about filming the new leg joint but, was more concerned on getting it right, plus, several commissions on the go while doing this. Do have a video on a full table build though. Cheers Ben. Yeah, let's hope so. With responsible long term management and replanting, it needn't be a problem. Unfortunately, it's all too common for responsibility to be thrown out the window for a quick buck. Bit fingers crossed.👍
