Cinema 4d's UV functionality confused me for weeks. .. but I took a chance on this simple sounding tutorial... Sometimes we get lucky and run across someone that doesn't show off an amazingly expensive looking MICROphoness or over the top SUPER enthusiasm!!!!... He just has knowledge and then shares it for free!!! Thank you so much Mr. Meat.
cheers, although i always thought this tutorial wasn't that great, i actually use an external tool now for UV unwrapping ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1jfPY6daE2g.html
Thank you. I'm pretty young and new to this shit (16) but me and my friends are building and programming a game and we badly need to learn UV mapping so we can speed up the development process.
+Tryst Films - To be fair, Cinema 4d doesn't have the best UV tools, you might find an external mapping tool to be quicker. If you are making a game you might like my other videos on Playmaker and Unity :D
Nice 1 I’ll check it out. I also found 3D Coat yesterday...made it so much easier. It’s mad how C4D is the most intuitive 3D program but it’s just not got the uv process right yet
skewed uvs mean the texture will be skewed no matter what program you use to paint in! dreadful tutorial and you sound like you have no clue at all! avoid this man! lol
