V.G.W.: PSP - Mega Man: Powered Up (GutsMan Banter) 

Y'know, Wily says Gutsman isn't smart, but after seeing this, I'd say he's the most intelligent of all the Robot Masters in this game. "It's a foreman's job to look out for everybody, but sometimes, you gotta do what ain't in the blueprints!"

It's so sweet how Gutsman calls Dr. Light 'pops'. Really makes it sad when you realize all the robots Light lost were like his children and he has to send one of them to kill their brothers.

GutsMan's dialogue with ElecMan becomes even funnier when you realize he can very easily break ElecMan's AI I guess he really _did_ make ElecMan short-circuit after all

Doesn’t anyone realized that the boss after the Yellow devil said “Request denied” instead of “Negative”, or immediately “Eliminate”. Plus, the boss said eliminate only one time. This makes Guts man the greatest case of almost every Mega man game.

gutsman in this game reminds me alot of the heavy from tf2: the big tough guy everyone thinks is an idiot, but rather he's just not much of a talker, hes a listener, and when he does speak, its usually very wise or important also I find it adorable that he calls Dr. light "pops"

@Yoosurnaym When Gutsman said that line, he sounded like he has seen and been through a lot. The voice acting in this game is superb. I mean, look how Time Man sounds like an old man at times and at others like a kid, yet he retains his personality! It's fun to hear them talk and see their reactions to certain individuals.

@Yoosurnaym The proof of his intelligence shows in his play style too. For someone whose supposed to be just brute strength, there's a lot of strategy that goes into using him. From platforms to stairs to barriers in boss battles, he's much more versatile than most people give him credit for. Not gonna lie, though, he takes getting used to. It sure as HELL wasn't easy beating all of the modes and levels as him, I'll tell ya that.

Gutsman seems to love the working life, which for me is the cool thing with Gutsman. So some alternate ’Mission Accepted’ quotes for Gutsman, could be: ”I’ll take this job. OK, boss?” ”I’m here if you need an employee for this.” ”I’m here if you need staff for this.”

Turning down Gutsman was Wily's biggest mistake of all, for Gutsman can wreck the Wily Machine easily.

gutsman probably also see's all of the other robots, not only as fellow workers, but as little brothers see how he consders dr.light as "pops" so he sees everyone as a big family and is closest to cut, elec, and bomb due to there jobs

@DoitForTheLolz1 Here's my theory: For each character, Capcom tried to give each Robot Master a personality that would fit its power in an interesting way. (For example, ElecMan's narcissism works because he can describe his electric attacks as "beautiful", while FireMan's sense of justice "burns hotly" to the brink of insanity.) Normally, as an Arctic explorer (comparable in some ways to a soldier), IceMan would have worked with a soldier personality. (cont'd)

@HeroPenguin if you can connect your PSP online, go into the Construction Mode's online shop and access the Special Download tab. You'll find a lot of stages, as well as two specific downloads "Roll Refuses to Lose" and "The Final Character". Grabbing these gets you Roll and ProtoMan respectively. I have no idea what you're supposed to do to get Roll if you can't connect online, but ProtoMan can be aquired via Challenge Mode if you have the patience.

CutMan can shoot two Rolling Cutters, GutsMan can produce his own Stone Containers, IceMan can use his enemies as platforms when he freezes them, BombMan can throw two bombs and aim their trajectory, ElecMan can manipulate ElecBlocks to get to hidden areas and OilMan is faster on his slider than Mega Man is. TimeMan isn't any different aside from his default attack, but FireMan is weaker when he comes into contact with water.

@MoisChanVsTamama For some games, even if it's just an alternate costume/character of the same person, they have their own specific quotes and stuff. Even in some Capcom fighters, they do this. So I thought that also occurred in Rockman Rockman/MegaMan Powered Up.

@SaitoKojima "Mega", according to this game, has different banter with his Copy Robot, but other than that I believe they're all the same.

Gutsman has the fewest unique dialogues with other characters when they're facing him, but AS him he gets the most unique dialogue from other characters. As the non-protagonist franchise mascot I'd say it's appropriate he gets such special treatment.

@JPman299 There's this game called Megaman Universe for the PSP. You can play as all the MM2 Robot Masters, your own custom robot, Ryu, and 2 versions of Megaman. (Megaman and Rockman. Megaman is serious, Rock is chibi kawaii desu.) Megaman Universe is basically Megaman 2 Powered-Up. It's got everything Megaman Powered-Up has, with a little extra features, and it's Megaman 2 and not MM1.
