Daaamn bro, I'm so happy to see that the beast M60B40 didn't have a problem. These engines are amazing ! And I can't wait to see the supercharger mounted on him 😈💪🏿❤. Best wishes from Romania ! 😎💪🏿
Literally have the same exact supercharger setup for my m62 e30. I ordered the toolman adapter kit like a month ago. He has my blower now, and then im sending out to Steigmeier to port the blower for more power. Cant wait to see how yours comes out!
I think speedacademy supercharger that are installing in the lexus v8 is the same, and has a different "rear section", that could help the clearance with the firewall.
@@jemaripano8078 normal m60b40 is 10:1, but when you do the b44 block and pistons on the m60, the pistons are dished which skews the compression numbers to be lower than originally thought.
Oh, and aluminum on aluminum isn't as fragile as you're thinking. The consistent temperature differentials keep things from warping as easily, and the aluminum radiates that heat way better than an iron block/iron head.
@@gasjunkies7048 the Dinan Turbo 540i World Challenge car did 800hp on a mostly stock engine. There are european drifters running turbo M60B40(and M60B44 Hybrids) at 700-750whp on completely stock internals. The definitely-safe number it somewhere between 500-600whp. Of course, you have to be standalone ECU and have the fuel for it but hey, the engine is capable. haha. If you search "800hp E34" the first thing to come up should be a 540i touring on drive-my.
